Hello crafty friends! Today is my last post for this DT term and I am so sad! It has been such an honor to be part of this design team and I had so much fun creating cards for you these past four months! I am so grateful for Vanessa giving me this opportunity and I appreciate all of you for your support and encouragement! *hugs!* For my last card, I have a Happy New Year card featuring Mama Elephant's Me and My Yeti . I have always wanted to try creating a bokeh background and thought it would be the perfect backdrop for the yeti as he rings in the new year. I masked off part of the card and then used a lot of Distress Oxides ( picked raspberry , salvaged patina , cracked pistachio , wilted violet , chipped sapphire , black soot ). Then I stenciled on the bokeh circles with white pigment ink . I cut out the panel with Mama Elephant's Cloud Nine die. I cut out "2022" from silver glitter cardstock and black cardstock using Concord & 9th's Tall Type Numbers . I ...
