Aim for the Clouds

Hello, everyone! Allison here, and  I am back today with a fun take on a shaker card. It’s called an “infinity” shaker card. That’s what I’ve seen it called in several places, anyway, so we’re going to stick with it! The fun thing about an infinity shaker card, aside from its name, is that it makes your entire card panel into a shaker. It’s also super easy and quick to make. I used a fun assortment of goodies from MFT for this card, all of which can be found in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store . I started today’s card with this incredibly adorable dragon from the  Magical Friends set. I want to be that girl flying in the air, don’t you? I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink since I was going to use my Copic markers. There are so many fun color combinations for this dragon, but I went with my favorite color, turquoise. And the purple is for my son because he says I never use purple on cards. This is actually the second purple dragon I've made this week - did I ...

Reverse Confetti Pattern Paper Card

Hello BRI Friends!!! Waleska here from  Craftinglovew  to share a very fun and graphic card with lots of pattern paper and paper piecing, inspired on the illustrator of this Reverse Confetti images Dawn Machell. CARD DETAILS: For this card my main inspiration was Dawn Machell illustrations, she uses lots of different patterns on her images, she combines bright colors and graphic patterns to create AWESOME illustrations.  I started by choosing the pattern paper I wanted to use, there are lots of   Pattern Papers  for you to choose at the shop.  I find one that would look well combined together on my card.  I used the new Reverse Confetti  Magical Day Stamp Set  and the  Unicorn Wishes Stamp Set .  I loove long cards, because they give me the chance to use more stamps and do bigger scene cards, this one measures 4.5 by 8 inches long.  I stamp the tree, unicorn and dragon on the pattern paper with  Vers...

Knight in Shining Armor

Hello, crafty friends! Today I'm sharing my first post as a Butterfly Reflections, Ink Design Team member, and I'm SUPER thrilled for the opportunity! Confession time: I was very worried that once I had been selected to be a design team member for this blog I would actually run out of card making ideas and be at a total loss for creating something. Guess what? THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! <insert shocked gasps from the crowd>. Thankfully, I was able to get past this block, and soon I will put up a post on my own blog about what to do when the creative juices are running dry. But back to this card! One of my biggest struggles as a card maker is creating a scene. You really need to have some skills of big-picture thinking. I'm more of a detail-oriented person, hence why creating scenes is hard for me. But I figured I'd tackle one of my biggest struggles head-on for this first project! I first stamped various images from the My Favorite Things Mag...
