Good morning crafters and card makers! Heather here today to share a slimline card that I created using some goodies from the shop! I don’t know about you, but just love ALL of the Avery Elle Peek-a-Boo critters!!  They’ve got all of these super fun accessories and I love that Vanessa stocks all of these great items in the shop!  For my card I started out by stamping a few Avery Elle images onto Strathmore Watercolor Paper .  The images I chose today are from the Polar Bear Peek-a-Boo Pals   Stamp Set (Walrus, Fox, & scarves), the Peek-a-Boo Coaster Stamp Set (the cute Owl), as well as a few bumper cars from the Peek-a-Boo Fair Stamp Set .  I stamped all of these images using Ink on 3's super cool Fade out Ink so that I could create a “no-line” coloring look. Next I went to work coloring all of the images using water color pencils and a paint brush with clean water on it. Nuvo has a variety of fun sets of Watercolor Pencils and you can find them in t...

"Lovely" 12x12 Scrapbook layout // Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness Collection

Hey friends... Heather here..its been a minute since I've posted, but I am back and sharing a layout created with one of my favorite collection lately.... Cocoa Vanilla Studios "Happiness Collection .  I love this collection...its bright rainbow colors, gorgeous clear stickers, and the oh so pretty embellishments!   I started with a white piece of white cardstock as my background and cut a bunch of " spring florals " on my silhouette from Just Nick Studio also from white cardstock.       I backed the flower die cuts with patterned papers from the 6x8 paper pad .  Then, for a little sparkle and shine, I embossed the tips of the flowers with WOW sparkle silver embossing powder using Versamark embossing ink .     I adhered the flowers vertically just in the centers to keep the petals lifted and popped a few of them up with pop dots.  After matting my photo with a couple of patterned papers,...

LawnFawn Eggstra Amazing Easter

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Danielle here up on the BRI blog today with fun Easter card featuring Lawn Fawn Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set .  With Easter right around the corner, I figure it's not too early to start my cards for family and friends. I started off my card with a plain white card base.  I then trimmed down another piece of Lawn Fawn Peacock cardstock a little bit shorter for my second layer and adhered to my card base using tape adhesive . For my top layer, I used the new Lawn Fawn Spring Fling 6x6 paper pack and trimmed it shorter than my previous layer and adhered using foam adhesive..  I love that this paper pack comes with 12 different patterns and is perfect for spring.  For the die cut center, I used Lawn Fawn Reversed Stitched Scalloped Circle Window die . This created the cute scalloped center in my patterned panel.  I ran this die through my cutting machine again this time on a white piec...

Magic Picture Changer - Happy Anniversary

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone!! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with my first ever interactive card!! Once I saw the new Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer die , I knew I had to dig in and give it a go! It is our 5 year anniversary this week so I thought I would make a card to celebrate us!! Now I have never tried doing an interactive card before mostly because I was intimidated and didn't know where to start, but this die is so easy to use and can be used with any stamps you may already have!   For my first image I used the new Lawn Fawn stamp set Open Me .  I loved the little sign and chicks that are in this stamp set.  I stamped my sign image on a piece of smooth bristol cardstock.  *Tip: you don't want to use a heavy cardstock as it may prevent from sliding* (I learned this the hard way)  Now I know I wanted to do some ink blending in the background, therefore I stamped the sign image on a post it so I could mas...

Lucky Charm - LawnFawn

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a fun card featuring Lawn Fawn Lucky Charm stamp and die set .  Spring is definitely in the air and I wanted to make a bright and cheerful card for you! I started off using Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die and some Lawn Fawn Sparkle Holiday Cardstock .  This pack has a beautiful emerald green glitter cardstock that was perfect for spring.  Once cut, I adhered to my card base.  For my second layer I used gold mirror cardstock and the new Avery Elle Scalloped Mat die and ran through my die cutting machine.  This background die is so versatile and elegant!  I also used this same die and ran through my machine using plain white cardstock which I adhered on top of my mirrored panel using foam adhesive.  It cuts out a circle in the center which I used for my main focal point.  I ink blended the left over circle using Distress...
