You Are Wonderful

Hello friends! Thanks so much for joining me here today for another card. It's hard to believe my time here is almost over! I have had such a great time, bringing you inspiration and promoting Vanessa's fabulous store! So, how about that card? I started with a white card stock panel, and die cut an oval from it, using the Avery Elle Sweet Scallops die set . I then traced a light pencil mark onto a white card base as a guide for my stamping, I flicked onto it, some black paint, and allowed it to dry while I did my stamping.  Using the Anemone stamp set from Jane's Doodles, I stamped two flowers, and a leaf within the pencil line markings on my card base, erased them, and colored in my images with Copic Markers. Here is a look at the colors I used to color the images. :) After the coloring was finished, I popped up the white panel, inserted a blacked die cut scallop from that same Avery Elle die set , and added a white heat embossed sentiment ...

You Are Amazing

Hello, hello! Lindsay here, sharing a floral card using a few older sets from Winnie & Walter! I know I have used it before, but the  In Bloom: Anna's Flora  set is one of my favorites. I started with a card stock panel, and stamped a cluster of images in the top corner. I masked off some of the flowers, to add leaves, and then I colored them in with Copic Markers. Using The Big, the Bold, and You stamp set, I stamped my sentiment in black ink, and added strips of gold glitter paper, and black card stock to the side. I then adhered the panel to a white card base. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you give your older stamp sets some love! Have a crafty day!

Ink Blended Chemistry

Hello! Lindsay with you today! Get your shades on, because this one is bright! I am bringing back an older My Favorite Things stamp set, Undeniable Chemistry , because it is one of my favorites. I also paired it with the fabulous We R Memory Keepers Next Level Embossing Folders . I started by taking a panel of white card stock, and blending in a rainbow of Distress Inks , using a foam blending tool. I then spritzed it with some water, let it sit a few seconds, and blotted it away. Once that was dry, I ran it through my die cut machine with the Geometric Next Level Embossing Folder . It is such a cool 3-D effect! I adhered it to a white card base, and began working on the rest of my card. For the beakers, I used the coordinating dies , and added the liquid after I applied Distress Inks, and white paint. I also die cut a few other pieces using vellum, and adhered those behind the images. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark , and white embossing powder on black card ...

Bold, Ink Blended Happy Birthday

Hello! I am so glad you stopped by today! I have a bold ink blended card to share with you today, using some stamps, and basics from the store.  Cards like this are a great way to create a simple, no pressure design, with big impact. So, I started by taking the Whimsical Greetings stamp set by My Favorite Things, and stamping the triangle stamp randomly over a panel of white card stock, using Onyx Black Versafine ink. I then heat set it using Clear embossing powder. I then began blending in a few Ranger Distress Inks, in Wilted Violet, Festive Berries, and Fossilized Amber. I took one of the sentiments from the set, and white heat embossed it onto black card stock. I trimmed it down, and added it to the panel. I adhered the panel to a white card base using a piece of fun foam. To finish it, I adhered a few black sequins. I hope you were inspired! Have a bright, and happy Wednesday, crafty friends! A Floral Thank You

Hello! Is it finally feeling like spring where you are? There were a few days that I could open my windows, and that has made me happy! Flowers make me happy too, and if I can't have real ones yet, I will accept the stamped variety! Sadly, I only used this gorgeous stamp set, Sketched Blooms , once since I got it, and it was time to ink it up again! I stamped and masked some of the flowers across the bottom of a piece of watercolor paper. I took the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors , and added rich pigment to my flowers, allowed them to dry, and added a light blue wash of color to the background. After it was dry as well, I stamped my sentiment from the Whimsical Greetings stamp set, in black ink. I then trimmed the panel down, and adhered it to a card base with a piece of fun foam. I finished it off with a few black pearls. I hope you are able to get some crafting in! It's good for the soul! Have a great day!

Floral Thinking of You

Happy hump day! I am so glad you stopped by today, because I have a fun stamped card to share with you. This week is expected to be warm, and sunny, and with that a parade of floral cards will ensue! This lovely floral set, from Concord and 9th, called Wildflower , is so fun to stamp and color. I took a white card base, and did some masking, stamping the various images in a cluster/spray in the top left of the card front. I sponged in some blue ink around the edges, and colored in the flowers using Copic Markers. I outlined the images in a very light blue. For my sentiment, I used a little greeting from Avery Elle's Sentimental clear set , and finished it off with black pearls. There is so much you can do with this floral set, and I sure plan to make good use of it! I hope you'll share with us what you've created using it! I would certainly love to see. Thanks for stopping by today! Now, go get crafty!

You Amaze Me

Hello, hello! I have an elegant floral card to share today, using a few products found in the store! I started by stamping the amazing rose image from Winnie & Walter's Anna's Florals stamp set, and colored in with Copic Markers. I trimmed them out, and outlined them with black marker. I then moved on to the background! The Next Level Embossing Folders from We R Memory Keepers, are amazing! I used the Geometric set for this, and when I had it finished, splattered it with a bit of Black Soot Distress Stain . After it dried, I adhered it to a white card base, and attached my flower, leaf combo, along with a sentiment strip of black card stock, and white embossing. I chose a sweet sentiment from MFT's fabulous Whimsical Greetings stamp set. Lastly, I added a few gems! I hope you were inspired today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

You're Souper Cool

Hello friends! I have a fun card to share with you today, using some fun My Favorite Things products, you can find in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink shop! I love the Horizontal Stitched Cover-up Companion Die from MFT, and used that as the frame for my card. First, though, I added some red ink to the background, as well as a piece of MFT's Country Fair Patterned Paper , in Red. Using the adorable Recipe For Happiness set, I stamped the chef onto white card stock, as well as a few utensils, and colored them with Copic Markers. I then cut them out, and placed them onto my card. I stamped my sentiment last, and adhered it all to my card base. I hope you enjoyed, and are inspired to play with your stamps, and inks! Thanks for joining me today!

Hello! I am so glad you could join me today. I have a fun little card to share using Hero Art's Cactus Stamp set .  I started with a panel of watercolor paper, and wet it liberally with water, dropping in pink, yellow, and green Distress inks . I allowed those to blend, and then dry, before trimming the panel down. I popped up the panel onto a white card base, and stamped my sentiment in the center. I stamped out the cactus, and colored it with Copic Markers , before trimming it down, and popping it up onto the card. To finish it I added a few rhinestones! I hope you've enjoyed! Crazy About You

Hi friends!  Thanks for stopping by today! I have an ink blended card, using a host of fun products from the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store! To begin, I took a white panel, masked off the center area with a piece of masking paper, and sponged in a range of Distress Inks from Ranger, using an ink blending tool. I then removed the mask, and began working on my sentiment. Using Avery Elle's Simply Said: Crazy stamp set , I stamped it in Versamark ink . I then white heat embossed the image, and added foil to it using the Heidi Swapp Minc machine. You could always use a laminator if you don't have the Minc. Once the image was foiled, I die cut it out with the coordinating die , and popped it up onto my card, adding the rest of the sentiment that was heat embossed onto black card stock. To finish it off, I die cut a few black hearts from Memory Box's Flicker Heart die , and added glossy accents to them. Thank you so much for joining me today! Have a great o...

I Love Ewe

Hello, hello! Lindsay here, and I am in love with these sweet sheep from the Ewe Are the Best stamp set from My Favorite Things! Do you like to color? Whether its markers , or watercolors, this stamp set is so fun to color! I started by stamping the hill image twice, as well as a couple of trees, onto a white card base. I then masked them both, and applied a layer of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for a bit of sky. I removed those masks, and colored in the hills, and trees using Copic Markers. I stamped the ram, and the ewe onto white card stock, and colored them as well, cutting them out, and popping them up onto my card. I finished it by stamping a few hearts in red ink, and adding my sentiment in Onyx Black Versamark ink. Do you like to color? If so, what is your medium of choice? Thanks for visiting today! Happy Birthday

Hello! I am so glad you stopped by today! I have a fun, colorful card to share with you, using a couple of fabulous stamp sets from My Favorite Things .  I am a sucker for florals, and the Sketched Blooms had to come live with me! I started by cutting a piece of watercolor paper down to 4 3/8 x 5 1/4, and stamped my flowers and stems in a waterproof black ink. I then used multiple colors of Distress Inks , to stamp out my flowers, adding water with a spray bottle to spread the color. I then immediately hit it with my heat tool to keep it from spreading. I did that to all of the flowers. With the leaves, I simple colored in the bottom portion using Distress Markers, and the spritzed it with water. To finish it, I adhered it to a white card base with foam, and added a sentiment from the Birthday Bears Stamp Set , using white heat embossing onto black card stock. I also adhered a few black pearls! Thanks again for stopping by, and be sure to check out all of th...

Sweet Happy Birthday Rabbit

Hello! Lindsay with you today, sharing a fun watercolored card, using a few fun products from the Butterfly Reflections store !  This little bunny from the  Birthday Bunnies Stamp Set  is just too sweet. I stamped it onto white card stock, and colored it with Copic Markers, along with the cluster of balloons. Afterward, I die cut them out using the  Birthday Bunnies Die Set , and set them aside to work on my panel. I took Picked Raspberry, and Salty Ocean Distress Inks, and applied them to a piece of acetate. I spritzed both with water, and applied it to my very wet Watercolor paper. I allowed the colors to bleed, and meld together, before heating it with my heat tool. Once it was completely dry, I die cut the panel using  Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables  from Lawn Fawn. I added the sentiment, and adhered the rabbit, and balloons with foam tape. Lastly, I adhered a few sequins, from Lucy's Cards, Warm Golden Glow pack. Thanks for ...
