Sending Sunshine and Happy Thoughts

Hello! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing this fun, happy and adorable card that was inspired by this month's Mood Board ! You can read all about the details here of how to play along here! Aren't those colors gorgeous? I love the bold, richness of the dark colors. So inviting! I thought it would be perfect to use the adorable little Dragon Love stamp set from Avery Elle! Once everything was colored, I used the coordinating dies to die cut it out! And I used the greens to color him up! So cute! For the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender to ink blend! Then I used the Picket Studios Slimline Rainbows stencil and the same colors, but with more pressure, to add the tone on tone rainbows to the background! I die cut out some clouds with Newton's Nook Designs' Sky Borders Die Set from white cardstock. then I heat embossed the sentiment from the Look for Rainbows stamp set from Avery Elle . I love how this card came out...

I used the Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On Die , a picket fence die , and the Quilted Backdrop background die .  I just used a piece of gray-colored cardstock I had in my scrap stash to make that background and adhered it to a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base - nothing fancy! In regards to techniques I used to create this card, there aren't any! Isn't t...
