12x12 scrapbook layouts - Incorporate your stamp and dies

Hey, crafty friends....It's Heather back to share two scrapbook layouts with you showcasing a matching die and stamp set.  I love using my stamps and dies to create my own backgrounds and embellishments.  Using your dies and stamps makes it easy to personalize your projects! Plus, they are usually the more expensive items in your stash, therefore, the more use they get, the better!   So, I know we are days away from Halloween, but I was so excited to use these Concord & 9th products , I am skipping ahead to Winter...just temporarily...   I love snowflakes and the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry stamp set and matching die is one of my favorites!      The first layout was created using the Snow Flurry stamp set on my background.  I started with a piece of white cardstock and added gesso to prep it before adding mixed media.       First, I stamped the snowflake images randoml...

Box sets....

Hi, hello!   Norine back again this week with some card sets in boxes.  I love making cards (that's kinda why I'm here) but I'm not as good at sending them out, so sometimes I'll collect a few that go together, make them into a set and give them away to others who can use them.  Today though, I began with the intention to made 3 sets specifically for gifts. This post is less about the packaging of these cards, than the cards themselves, but I wanted you to see what they all looked like before we open them up and I show you the cards inside!  I used the new monogram stamps from Concord & 9th for all the cards.  And in the end they are all Thank you cards.  Hello cards will come another day!
