Coffee Break

Hello Butterfly Reflections Ink friends! Silvia's here today sharing with you two coffee themed cards….you know, I'm a real coffee addict!!! First of all I die cut some coffee cup elements from white cardstock with the Honey Bee Stamps "Coffe Cup Card" dies. I then colored them blending together different inks. For the coffee I blended together tea dye , vintage photo and walnut stain Distress Oxide inks, for labels I mixed together worn lipstick and festive berries Distress Oxide inks and Lawn Fawn mermaid dye ink for the lids. I stamped images from The Greeting Farm "Miss Anya Coffee Break" stamp set using LDRS raven hybrid ink, I colored with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them. I then die cut two card base from Lawn Fawn "Spiffy Speckles" paper pad and I build my card. For the sentiment I used Versafine black ink and "Mini-Remix Friend" stamp set. I also added some Trinity Stamps  embell...

Snow Buddies

Hello crafty friends and readers! This is Crystal here today and I have two cards to share with you featuring vivid alcohol ink backgrounds and adorable snowmen!  Creating alcohol ink pieces of art to use on cards has such a WOW effect.  While I love the look of Distress Oxide inks, I still don't feel entirely comfortable using them, so when I want to create eye-catching backgrounds, Ranger Adirondack Alcohol Inks are my jam. Both of these cards are A2 in size and feature the Snow Buddies stamp set and coordinating dies from Honey Bee stamps.  The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock.  I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of White Yupo paper on which to create my background.  I dropped a couple drops each of Aqua , Pool and Patina inks onto the Yupo paper and blew the ink around with a straw until I achieved a desired look.  No, there is no rhyme or reason to my madness when creating with alcohol! Stitched Cards

Hey everyone! Hope you're week is going great! It's Kelli again showing some stitched cards. My husband and I took a vacation to New Mexico and on the drive I decided to give these a try rather than sleep! I used the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch Die and colors of DMC embroidery floss I already had on hand. For the blue card, I used Lawn Fawn Mermaid cardstock and Honeybee Hello Die . The sentiment "You're Unforgettable" is from Hello Bluebird Elephant Friends Stamp Set .   For the pink card, I used pink glitter paper and the same Honeybee Hello Die. The sentiment "Sending Love" is from the Hello Bluebird Merry Greeters Stamp Set. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
