Pick of the Patch Mini Slimline Card

Hello crafty friends! Fall is in full swing and today I am excited to share with you a clean and simple mini slimline card! Have you tried a mini slimline card yet? I am really digging this size because sometimes, I feel like a full slimline card is overwhelming... So much card front to cover, so much inside to write in. So the mini size is a great in between size to stretch your scene but not feel overwhelmed.  For today's card, I used Pick of the Patch from Lawn Fawn . I stamped and masked off the pumpkin and squirrel images to create this one layer card. With the masks still in place, I ink blended the background with some Distress Inks ( abandoned coral , spiced marmalade , mustard seed , crushed olive --you can use Distress Oxides) to create what I like to call an autumn rainbow! I splattered some water and then spritzed it with tarnished brass Distress mica spray . I hope you can see it in the pictures... it is much shinier in person! Once the background was done, I removed...
