Happy holidays card using Mama Elephant stamps

Hello everyone! Alexandra here today to share with you my last Christmas card for this year and I though I will the Christmas cards series with a more festive one , so I took the Poinsettia stamp set from Mama Elephant and stamped the images multiple times using a light ink Then I started coloring the images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and coloring from dark to light and for each colors I used 3 shades Once the images were colored I fussy cut them and stamped the sentiment which is from Craftin Desert Divas  Holiday sweaters stamp set  and I have used the Versa Mark ink and a gold embossing powder as I wanted to add a bit of elegance to the card. Also because I felt that the card was still missing something I added some splatters using a gold acrylic paint . I added the flowers to my card base using foam tape and also splattered some more gold paint to the flowers and my card was done! Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a beautiful ...

Poppy Stamps Poinsettia Peace

Happy Monday (ugh)!!   Laurie  here to share a very golden and very simple Christmas card.  I ordered the  Poinsettia Peace  stamp set awhile ago and decided to use it for my project today.  I adore these small stamp sets from Poppy Stamps.  They are always so cute and unique AND affordable!!!  They often have matching die sets, but this particular set does not. I started by lining the "peace" sentiment up on a piece of 3.5 X 5.5 inch piece of kraft cardstock.  Using my Mini Misti, I was able to stamp the sentiment perfectly by simply sliding the cardstock either up or down using the grid paper.  This would have been an impossible task for me before that tool!!  I used  Versamark  ink and heat embossed with  Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder . It looked a little plain, so I coloured in the letters using a red marker and also swiped the Versamark pad along the edges and added some more embossing powder. ...
