Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hello BRI Friends, Waleska from  craftinglovew  here.  I am so happy today to share with you the very last post of this 2017!!!  What a great year we had at Butterfly Reflections Ink shop!!! So many amazing products added to the shop, so many talented designers share with all of us beautiful inspiration... Well too many cool stuff to mention Vanessa can tell you that better than me!!! For my card today I wanted to give a little reminder to ALL of us... to Reach for the Stars especially on this coming 2018! CARD DETAILS: I started with a white card base, I smooshed two of my favorite Oxide ink colors into my craftmat and added a little bit of water: Starting with  Peacock Feathers  and  Twisted Citron .  I then with a fine brush splash into the hole piece little splashes of  Seedless Preserves  ink .  To give the galaxy look to my piece I sponge the borders with  Black Soot  and finally added gold splashes...

Hello Friends, Father´s day is around the corner and I was inspired by that special occasion to create this card with lots of shimmer and very cute characters. CARD DETAILS: I started creating the galaxy background, I used only 4 colors for that:  Merman Lawn Fawn Ink ,  Distress Ink Carved Pumpkin ,  Distress Ink Twisted Citron  and Black Soot. With an Ink Blending Tool  I put some of the colors starting in the corners of the card base blending heavily to get very vibrant colors, after that I apply the Black Soot Distress Ink in some parts to create the galaxy looking sky leaving some of the original colors for a colorful galaxy, and added water splatters too. I love to mix and match different stamp sets so I used the little mustache from  Dad Me Lawn Fawn Stamp Se t  and mix it with the cute Astronaut from  Out of this World Stamp Set  my idea was to create a Daddy Astronaut. Hello! I adore the new Lawn Fawn collection! You can find it HERE . Today I used the new Out of This World set  with coordinating dies . To create my card I started by stamping and die cutting the astronaut, planets and rocket ship. I had to color coordinate them all because in my pretend space world that is how it works. ;) Next, I die cut the white card stock background with Starry Skies  and Stitched Circle Frames  which created the half circle cut out at the bottom. Then I used a wet paint brush mixed with  Salty Ocean  Distress Ink to create the splatters in my space scene. I finished the card by embossing  the sentiment and adding a few embellishments.  I hope your day is out of this world! :) Thanks for stopping by!
