Sweet Swans

Hello!  So great to be back with you.  Today I am sharing with you a card I made for couples in mind. This can be a card for weddings, anniversaries, etc. I loved how this turned out. So simple and yet so pretty! Here are the step by step instructions to make this card: Make card base with 110lb white cardstock.  Stamp all the images from the Lawn Fawn Swan Swoiree  with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.   Color them with copic markers and use the coordinating dies to cut them out.  The single cat tail stamp is from the Lawn Fawn Toadally Awesome set cut out with the coordinating dies . I stamped the water onto the card with a blue ink.  I then adhered all the images with foam adhesive. To finish the card, I added some sequins and jewels from the Coral Coast Sparkletz pack from Buttons Galore .   I love how pretty and sweet this card turned out.  I hope you enjoy it as well.  I will catch you next time!  MWAH!

Happy Easter!

Hello everyone!  Ashley Harris here and I'm so happy to be back with you all for a short bit.  I am sharing a fun new card with you today.  I was happily surprised to find my day to share was Easter.  So I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday and time spent with Family and Friends.  Here are the details on how I made this card. First I stamped all images from the Spring Gatherings Stamp Set from Hello Bluebird using Tuxedo Black Ink by Memento .  I colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out using the coordinating Spring Gatherings Dies from Hello Bluebird.  Using a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die , I cut the background using patterned paper from Lawn Fawn's Knit Picky Fall 6x6 paper pad.  I built the scene and adhered all images using foam adhesive.  I then stamped the sentiment to finish off the card. I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it.  Have a wonderful day!!

Sound the A-llama!

Hi, BRI fans!  Toni here with another fun birthday card! I don't know about you, but I LOVE a good pun (or a bad one--LOL) so absolutely had to get the Avery Elle Llamazing set.  Come on:  "Sound the A-llama"--too cute to pass up!!! I started the card by using Distress Oxides and the MFT Card-Sized Confetti Stencil  to create a fun background. I framed the card front using the Hello Bluebird Gallery Frame 1 outside diecut. Next I diecut a bunch of candles and colored them with Copics .  The llama is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and also colored with Copics.  I drew attention to the sentiment by stamping part of it in red. LOVE!  A few Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins adhered with Ranger Glossy Accents finish off the card. Check out my blog, Frankie Helps Craft , to see more of my creations.  See you soon!

Happy Christmas

Greetings, my lovelies! Toni here with another holiday card. The New Year's resolution is intact! For today's card I started by laying out the fun wintery scene using MFT Snow Special and MFT Happy Christmas . I embossed the background using a Sizzix embossing folder. I decided to use lots of Distress Oxide Mustard Seed yellow as it's always so gloomy here in the Pacific Northwest at the holidays. Yellow definitely is a pick-me-up color! I chose coordinating colors in Copics to color the images I had stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black . Once colored, I used Wink of Stella Clear to add shimmer to the icy elements. That little bit of shine is so pretty! Feel free to check out my blog, Frankie Helps Craft , to see my other creations.  In the meantime, hope you have a sunny day and I'll see you next week!

Love and More Love

Hi, everyone!  Two Valentine cards coming at you from Toni today. The holiday is next week so I've been crafting love all over the place! I'm using all sorts of leftovers in this card. Woo hoo!  I started the card by adhering pink cardstock (leftover) to my card base. I then adhered the Altenew Cozy Flannel Coverplate diecut (leftover) on top of that. I got dotty with a white pigment pen for snow.  Next I popped up the love diecut (leftover) from the Mama Elephant Tri Window Coverplate . I stamped the MFT Warm and Feathered Hugs critter with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with coordinating Copics . I love the soft colors, don't you?  To finish the card I added a small strip of  Alexandra Renke washi and a few Flora and Fauna Love Hearts diecuts. So glittery! My next card also uses some leftovers, including the love sentiment from the Mama Elephant Tri Window Coverplate and Doodlebug Design Cream and Sugar 6x6 Paper strips. I noticed th...

Magical Winter

Hello, BRI fans!  Toni here with my first post as a member of the BRI design team. I so look forward to sharing my creations with you over the coming months! I'm using Neat and Tangled Stay Cool images that I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics . I've been interested in creating more shading lately so relied heavily on BV23. You can especially see it on the dark areas of the fur on the girl's clothing. Once the images were colored up I chose some Echo Park Celebrate Winter paper to use for the sky and hills. I diecut the hills using Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders . I love that the hillside is in an unexpected patterned paper that totally works for the scene.  Lastly I popped the images up on foam tape and stamped a sentiment from Lawn Fawn Frosty Fairy Friends onto a strip of white cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black . Feel free to check out my blog, Frankie Helps Craft , to see my other creations.  In the meantime, stay warm a...

That Perfect Moment

Hello, Hello to you and this brand new year! I, Janette , am returning as a guest once again. When I saw this Altenew stamp set, Moments in Time , I was surprised to see a sentiment that summed up my feelings about 2016 so succinctly. The past year seems to have been a rough year for many, myself included. Not that the sun didn't shine on so many occasions, but a few markedly memorable events provided some choppy waters. This year, I am not waiting for any perfect moment. I will be taking moments, and making them perfect. I challenge you to do the same. Would you be surprised if I told you the background of this card was done with Copic Refills? Yep, it was - that and isopropyl alcohol! I simply dropped drips of color, straight from the Various Ink Refill , onto an A2 sized Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# panel. I started with B000, then B0000 and finally alcohol. Be sure to allow the drops to expand and dry before adding more that will touch the wet areas so that th...
