Thinking of You

Hi, Crafty Friends! This is Tiffany and today I'm sharing a spring Thinking of You card. We all know someone who can use a little cheer right now. I used several items available in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink. online store to create this card. I've been wanting to use vellum on a card for awhile now, I like how it gives a muted view of the patterned paper inside the Easter egg. Supplies Used : Lawn Fawn Easter Before 'n Afters Lawn Fawn Wavy Sayings Lawn Fawn Dandy Day 6x6 Paper Pack Lawn Fawn Simple Wavy Banners Lawn Fawn Large & Small Stitched Rectangles Lawn Fawn Scripty Hello Lawn Fawn Outside In Easter Egg Stackables Lawn Fawn White Embossing Powder Copic Markers Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Star Dust Stickles Tombo Mono Liquid Glue 3D Foam Squares Vellum, White Card Stock, Black Card Stock, and Silver Glitter Paper (from my craft stash) I hope this post finds everyone doing well! I hope to be back again soon!

You've Been on My Mind

Hey there, friends!! Welcome back to the blog! I'm thrilled to be here today, sharing this cheery card that was really easy to put together but also makes a beautiful statement! So let's get to the card! I started off by cutting and scoring a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and laying it in my MISTI. Using an ink blending brush  and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink , I created a soft ink-blended focal point in the background.  I chose blue because I knew I was going to make my floral images pink, and I knew blue would be a nice pop on that background. I chose the Layered Bouquet Stamp Set from Pinkfresh Studio because I knew it would be a lovely and large focal element for the front of a card and I knew this gorgeous arrangement could carry the entire card. I stamped the floral images in a series of pink inks , using the lightest shade for the largest floral image and then the medium shade of pink on the smaller image. To get that third layer, I stamped the same second lay...

Beautiful Blessings

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a Wonderful Valentine's Day!! It is  Dana  here today with a set of cards using lots of products from  MFT Stamps . Today, I am using the sentiments in the  MFT Stamps: Beautiful Blessings Stamp Set  and the  MFT Stamps: Beautiful Blessings 2 Stamp Set . These sentiments are perfect for showing your love and support to your friends and family that might need a little bit of encouragement. I started my card by die cutting the  MFT Stamps: Heart Tree  from my white cardstock panel. I then mounted a piece of pastel green cardstock behind my die cut tree for the leaves. Next, I mounted my card front onto my A2 pastel colored card bases. I used  Gina K Design Connect Glue  for all of my glueing. The liquid glue allowed me a little time to get everything lined up, had a great hold, and can get into small detailed areas. Then, I die cut my tree trunk and three hearts from the same Heart Tree Die. I inlaid...

Easy Floral Card with Jess + Brutus Monroe

Hey y'all! It's Jess and I'm back with another card for you today! I'm always in need of cards for those occasions that pop up at the last minute. It's nice to have a few on hand that can work for many different situations so you'll always have something if you're in a pinch! With that in mind, I designed this card using Brutus Monroe's Botanical Banners stamp set. This is one of my favorite floral stamp sets - it's so versatile! I've used this is so many ways and it never disappoints. To get started, I cut down a piece of cardstock using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Rectangle dies . I stamped the large floral image from the set in black ink and grabbed a few Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I scribbled on my media mat with the markers and spritzed them with water. I used a water brush to do a very basic 'loose watercolor' technique. This is basically a fancy way of saying I didn't want to stay in the lines! While I still had my water br...

Layered Roses....

Sorry guys, that's the lamest of blog titles, but it was the best my poor, tired brain could come up with! Norine from The Velvet Lemon , back with you today with some pretty layered stamping floral cards. I got to use a fun variety of products this week, to create these cards and I'm going to share them all with you here. To start with, I wanted to play with my new Altenew Crisp Dye Inks , to get a feel for the various color combinations.  So I used the floral stamp from the Story of Us floral layering stamp set from Altenew to try the various ink combinations and the flower I used on the gingham card is the Red Cosmos series , while the one on the quilted background card below uses the Tea Party ink set .  The leaves are a mix of Frayed Leaf for the base with a tad of Minty Mint thrown in here and there, and then layered, or actually just restamped with darker shades around the edges using Forest Glade , and Moss . The gingham card uses the Many Than...

Thinking of You

Hello there! It's Saturday! Or as my niece calls it, "Party Day!" I'm back with another installment of yet another WPlus 9 stamp set. When this stamp set was released, I just shook my head and thought, "How did she do it...AGAIN?!" I think I mentioned this in my last blog post, but I think I own every floral stamp set that Dawn has produced. Her images are some of my favorites to use for no-line watercolor, and so I decided to bring in that technique for this card. My husband recently went out of town for his friend's wedding and was gone for almost the entire weekend. To keep from going crazy, I decided I'd tackle the Kind Soul stamp set and get out my distress inks ! I knew this process would probably take a while, but since it's more a form of therapy than anything else, I didn't mind! I first stamped the floral image on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper  in a light colored ink. I then selected Shaded Lilac, Worn Lipstick, a...

Watercolor - Altenew - Thinking of You

Hey folks! I'm back today to share a card with you that was made by special request from youngest daughter. I used the Altenew Beautiful Day Stamp Set on this card HERE, but when my on of my Squirrel's asks me to use it again, I gotta say yes! Well, that and I LOVE this set, so it's easy to say yes. This card was super duper easy too! I stamped my Images on some Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink then heat embossed them with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. I used Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint to color these GORGEOUS images in. Next, I used a couple of dies from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 24 Set. One for the Watercolor Panel and one on a piece of My Favorite Things Kraft Cardstock. Before I added the Kraft Cardstock to my Lawn Fawn Noble Fir Cardstock Card Base, I used the My Favorite Things Woodgrain Background Stamp and MFT Kraft Hybrid Ink. To finish off my C...

Steeped In Love

Hey folks! Clean and simple has to be, hands down, my most favorite approach in card making. I just LOVE stamping an image, coloring it in and calling it a day. Building scenes, getting technical and fancy schmancy is great and all, but I really enjoy an image that can stand alone on the front of a card. So, that's what todays cards are all about! Let's face it peeps, almost all of my cards are like this, but let's focus on today shall we? I stamped this sweet, sweet girl from the Steeped In Love Stamp Set by My Favorite Things on three panels of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock  with  My Favorite Things Black Licorice Ink . There are soo many mediums that would be super duper for coloring this in, but I was really enjoy the way Derwent Inktense Watercolor Pencils  pop. For all three of my cards, I used a Lawn Fawn Scalloped Border Die on the Panels and pieces of My Favorite Things Translucent Vellum to go underneath. My Favorite Things Pink...
