Happy Thursday crafty friends, Ashley D. here!   I’m back today with another fun food-themed card featuring some more great new products from the Lawn Fawn Spring 2019 release.   I’m so excited to finally have some fun little food images with the new Lawn Fawn Plan On It: Meal Planning !   I definitely see a bright future for these little guys in my creations to come.   Who doesn’t love to go out to eat on their birthday?   So, I decided to create a fun dining out card featuring a create-your-own-adventure type theme using the clever Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel interactive die.   To begin, I created a simple ink-blended background by using Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass and Broken China on Bristol Smooth cardstock.   I cut it out using the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Square Add-On with the Speech Bubble Reveal Wheel Add-On .   I also cut a second stitched square from the same die in plain white cardstock to act as a backer for the future assembly.   To create the “meal options,” I di

WOO HOO!!  Spring is coming to sunny Arizona.  It was a bit crazy last week.  I mean there was snow in Tucson and in Scottsdale!  Not here, the land of Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres Spring Training.  Anywho, with Spring coming, I thought I would do a Spring card.  Go figure.  So here you go! How I made it: Trim the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid  patterned paper and adhere it to your card base.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black in to stamp the cute images from the P retty Pink Posh Bunny Friends stamp set and colored them with copics.  I then die cut them with the Bunny Friends matching dies .  I cut a square from a stitched square die, stamped the sentiment onto it and adhered it to the card base. After I adhered it, I wanted it to pop a little.  So I masked of the middle and the card and added Spun Sugar Distress Oxide .  I then used foam squares to adhere the bunny onto the card.  I used Clear Wink of Stella on the flower and Tonic Nuvo Crystal Drops in enamel to fin

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a fun card featuring Lawn Fawn Lucky Charm stamp and die set .  Spring is definitely in the air and I wanted to make a bright and cheerful card for you! I started off using Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die and some Lawn Fawn Sparkle Holiday Cardstock .  This pack has a beautiful emerald green glitter cardstock that was perfect for spring.  Once cut, I adhered to my card base.  For my second layer I used gold mirror cardstock and the new Avery Elle Scalloped Mat die and ran through my die cutting machine.  This background die is so versatile and elegant!  I also used this same die and ran through my machine using plain white cardstock which I adhered on top of my mirrored panel using foam adhesive.  It cuts out a circle in the center which I used for my main focal point.  I ink blended the left over circle using Distress Ink Oxides in Lucky Clover , Evergreen

Hello, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing an utterly girlie girl birthday card. This was so fun to make! I started the card by diecutting the Hello Bluebird Gallery Frame 3 . (I'll be using the inner cut on another card for sure!) I adhered a piece of Doodlebug Designs Fairy Tale 6x6 Paper behind that then adhered the lot to the card front after sponging the edges with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry . We can never have too much bling so I added an MFT Fringed Scallop Border cut from glitter cardstock. Swoon! I colored the critters from Pretty Pink Posh Cupcake Critters using Copics . They're so so cute!  The sentiment is cut from the Doodlebug Designs Fairy Tale 6x6 Paper and mounted on white so it pops out a bit more. Hi guys! It’s Erica popping in, with a guest design post, here on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog , today! How are we all doing? All good or drooling over the latest releases and wondering if it’s socially acceptable to live on water and bread to sustain your craft stuff addition? Or is that just me, lol! Today I have a card made with some new to me stuff from both The Stamp Market and Neat & Tangled . I tried my hardest to resist the latest couple of releases but failed rather spectacularly. Oh well, the stuff I got was only the tip of the ice berg (that is my wish list!) but oh wow... I’m seriously in love with that Love You diecut from Neat & Tangled and the Diamond Design Background Stamp from The Stamp Market ? There are so many colour combinations I want to try with it. I have a load of ready made A2 sized panels in all sorts of card stock for a quick start when inspiration hits, and these panels I store in plastic bags labelled with the kind of card s

Hello, BRI crafty friends!  Kathy here to wish you an - almost - Happy Easter .  Yes, I know we are a couple months away from the Spring holiday, but I couldn't resist creating something bright and springy using this adorable stamp set and pattern papers. For my card, I used these pretty pattern papers from Reverse Confetti Under The Umbrella paper pad .  One of the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Circles dies cut from Lawn Fawn cardstock is the backdrop for these too-darn-cute chicks (just love 'em!) from Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set . For my next project, I created a treat bag using Reverse Confetti Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator dies to cut a pattern from Reverse Confetti Under The Umbrella paper pad . I used one of the dies from the set to cut an opening in the front and adhered a piece of Hero Arts Acetate behind the opening.  Lastly, I added a couple more chick images from the Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set and tied the tag with twine

Happy Friday Crafty Friends!! It is Dana  here today hoping you all had a Wonderful week...I am ready for the weekend! Today, I have a card using the  Altenew: Handpicked Bouquet Stamp Set . I started my card by creating my background. I used  Spiced Marmalade,   Squeezed Lemonade,  and  Twisted Citron  Distress Oxide Ink. I blended my colors onto my card panel and then spritzed it with water. I set my panel aside to dry and began working on my stamping. For my floral image, I used the Gorgeous  Handpicked Bouquet  stamp set from Altenew...they really do make the most amazing flower stamp sets!! I stamped my flower image in greens, yellow and orange using my  Original MISTI Tool  to line everything up.  Next, I used the  Handpicked Bouquet Dies  to die cut my floral image. I trimmed down my ink blended background and stamped my sentiment from the Handpicked Bouquet stamp set. I attached my floral image with  Foam Adhesive  and added a few Pretty Pink Posh: Sparkling

Happy Thursday crafty friends, Ashley D. here!   The day has finally come, it’s Lawn Fawn Spring 2019 release day!   Let stampers everywhere rejoice!   This collection is so cute, and is available for shipment today.   So of course, I just had to make a card including one of the new sets I happen to acquire a little early at Creativation last month, and it sure does make me Hap-Pea (pun intended!).   This set it so versatile and unique, and is available now at Butterfly Reflections Ink.   To begin this card I stamped several peapods from the new Lawn Fawn Be Hap-Pea set on a square piece of white cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers (YG03. YG11, YG63, G82).   I then added vines from Lawn Fawn Be Hap-Pea and Pick of the Patch sets in green Memento Bamboo Leaves ink as well as adding a few custom vines using the kite strings from Lawn Fawn Yay, Kites! set.   I then stamped leaves from the Be Hap-Pea set onto the vines and colored them

  Happy Wednesday, Butterfly Reflections, Ink friends - Kathy here!  It's 'hump day' and that's as good a reason as any to have a par-tay! I created two cards using Concord & 9th Bitty Burst Turnabout stamp set and My Favorite Things Party die . For the first, I used three different Catherine Pooler inks ( Fiesta Blue , Flirty Fushsia , Lime Rickey and Tutti Frutti ) with the Bitty Burst Turnabout stamp to create a colorful confetti image on Lawn Fawn white cardstock and layered with Lawn Fawn black cardstock .  The 'party' word die is cut from Lawn Fawn black cardstock . For the second card, I layered a light aqua cardstock from Lawn Fawn onto the card base.  On Lawn Fawn Kraft cardstock , I embossed the Bitty Burst Turnabout stamp using WOW embossing powders in Gold Ric h , Oasis and Seafoam White .  The To finish, I added some Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins .  The 'party' word die is cut from gold cardstock.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a super fun and easy card featuring Concord & 9th Banners & Bloom and Lawn Fawn Fancy Folded Banners  die using resin.  This was so much fun and so easy! I started off with die cutting a piece of pink shimmer cardstock and Lawn Fawn Sparkle Pixie Dust card stock (which is my fave glitter cardstock) using Lawn Fawn's Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables Die.  I adhered both panels to my card base using Mono permanent tape adhesive .  For my main panel I used a piece of Alcohol ink Yupo white paper and just loosely colored diagonally with various copic markers.  I wanted to try something a little different so I mixed some resin together and added some Lawn Fawn chunky glitter  and glitter flakes to my resin mixture (when the resin has completely dried it will give the effect of the glitter "floating").  What I like about resin is that it creates a "glass" effect.  It's thicker than

Greetings, my lovelies! Toni here with another holiday card. The New Year's resolution is intact! For today's card I started by laying out the fun wintery scene using MFT Snow Special and MFT Happy Christmas . I embossed the background using a Sizzix embossing folder. I decided to use lots of Distress Oxide Mustard Seed yellow as it's always so gloomy here in the Pacific Northwest at the holidays. Yellow definitely is a pick-me-up color! I chose coordinating colors in Copics to color the images I had stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black . Once colored, I used Wink of Stella Clear to add shimmer to the icy elements. Hi Everyone!  It's Jenny here and I'm so excited to be back guesting on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog after what seems like forever!    I have three cards for you today, which all feature a decoupage style technique.  I'll show you how you can cut up your stamped images to create a 3D effect, and I have a video which show you how I created it in more detail which you can find here : My first card uses the  Pinkfresh Studio Lined Floral Background .  I stamped it five times in copic friendly black ink and then fussy cut it out at various sections used my Copics to color it. I colored each layer a different color of the rainbow, using three different shades for each layer.  I also didn't color all of each layer - only the bit I knew would be showing.  To get the edges nice and neat, I used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to go around the edges of each piece. Once all the pieces were lined, I adhered the main back stamped panel to some silver glitter ca
