Tis the Ski-son Card

Hi there! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a card that was inspired by the gorgeous winter-y Mood Board for December ! **swoon** such beautiful colors!F For my card I used a combination of Paperie Ink Stamp Sets ! I stamped the images from Snow Good and Ski On and then colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! Once everything was dry, I fussy cut the images out! I used the Stitched Mountain Borders from Lawn Fawn to create the background. I kept the dies all in white, and then placed them on top of a Fog Cardstock card base! I haaaaaad to add some sparkle, so I used the Chunky Glitter from Lawn Fawn and LOVE how that looks on the mountain tops! I also die cut out the banner with vellum , and used some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and very lightly added color to the back of the banner! LOVE that ice blue! I heat embossed the sentiment and it was complete! Hope the card made you smile! ~ Samantha

No Peeking Card by Audrey Tokach

Hello friends! Audrey here! I am back today with my second post as guest designer for December! My card today uses products from Honey Bee Stamps and Lawn Fawn ! To create my card, I started off by diecutting a piece of kraft cardstock, cut to 4" x 5.25" with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflake Backdrop . Then, I used it over completely with Lawn Fawn Yeti Ink , and splattered the background with watered down white acrylic paint. I added a snowy hill by diecutting a piece of white cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Simple Stitched Hillside dies . I stamped a few images from the Merry Little Mice stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps . colored them with Polychromos colored pencils, and fussy cut them with my scissors. I popped them up on the hillside, and stamped a sentiment from the Honey Bee Merry Christmouse stamp set onto a banner diecut. I matted the panel with a piece of gingham paper from my stash, and added a snippet under the sentiment too. To finish off my card, I ad...

Trick or Treat

Hello Friends, Waleska here! Happy Halloween Day!!! I am super excited to share with you a super colorful halloween card I created with lots of Trinity Stamps products you can find at the shop! I hope you like it! Card Details: To create this card, I started by cutting tree pumpkings from the Harvest Candy and Flower Bucket Die Set with purple, orange and green cardstock I then used Oxide Inks in colors, Wilted Violet, Mowed Lawn and Carved Pumpking to add some shading to this pieces.   I then cut the faces of the pumpkins with black cardstock and add them to the pumpkins. I die cut the candy that comes in this cute set from the same colors I used before and I added some gold touches here and there with the Solid Gold Cardstock . I then cut with black cardstock the Trinity Stamps Foliage frame for a night look and adhere it to a background I inked with carved pumpkin and mowed lawn oxide ink. I added the sentiment and you are done! I hope your day is filled with candy ...

Trick or Treat Card by Sara Zoppi

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am back with a new card, inspired by the October BRI Mood Board Challenge . This is the perfect Spooky palette that you can use for all your Halloween creations! We really don’t have a great Halloween celebration here in Italy, so I don’t have a lot of Halloween stamps or dies (even if I love them!). So I went through my crafty stash and I tried to look for a way to stretch them….and this is the result! I had the idea to mask those two little bears from Pretty Pink Posh Bear Friends stamp set and transform them into a trick or treat guys! I firstly stamped them on a piece of copic friendly paper, using Memento Tuxedo black ink for the bigger one and Memento London Fog for the smallest. In this way, I reached the faded look of the ghost. I also drew all the accessories (hat, coat and ghost’s sheet) with a black fineliner . I also stamped all the pumpkins – which comes from the PPP Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set - and the two bats of the background. I ...

Here for You Card

Well hello there! Samantha here, and today I am sharing a card that was inspired by the August Mood Board ! Swoon! Am I right? I love these color soooo much, who knew!? lol! I used alcohol inks to create the background! I honestly just love playing with alcohol inks !! I wanted the background to stand out, so I used die cut that beautiful rainbow with the Rainbow Elle-ments die from Avery Elle out of vellum for the images, and then attached them all to some clear acetate! Then I used my sewing machine to stitch it to the card base! Those bright purples and magenta just pop! Next, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Sending Flowers stamp set ! I colored them all with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! I added the colors in the soft blues and muted greens to bring in the other colors from the mood board. Lastly, I used some white embossing paste and the Falling Leaves Stencil from Newton's Nook to add some more leaf...

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! (I also popped them up with foam tape, so they would stand out). I added some fluffy clouds with vellum and white cardstock , and die cutting with the Puffy Cloud Borders from Lawn Fawn ! For the background, I ink blended in Seedless Preserves , Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold ! Then I splattered some water and white acrylic ink on top. Once it was dry, I used some white embossing paste and the Adventure Awaits Stencil from Echo Park . I love adding subtle texture that way! Lastly, I added some Stardust Stickles to t...

Let's Curl Up Mood Board Inspired Card

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am so happy to join this blog for a mood board inspiration. When I have to choose a color palette I always struggle, I think color choices are really important to create a balanced card. Well, last year I discovered the BRI Mood Boards and I just have to tell you that all of them were absolutely gorgeous. They inspired me to create many cards, they helped me to “open” my mind and learn new color schemes. So I am really really happy to be here, I hope you will join our challenge and I am sure you will love what you will do. This color palette is beautiful, it is wintery but with some fresh tones that made me think to an early spring…and since next month there will be Valentine’s day, I couldn’t resist to create a love card.  I used the adorable MFT “Let’s curl up” stamp set . I am a fox addicted (I don’t know why, but I love every single fox stamp!) and this set was a must have to me. (Mmm, what set is not a must have to me? LOL) I started ink blending ...

Cruisin' With Santa

Happy Friday, Everyone! I'm sharing a fun card with you today that I feel answers the age-old question of how Santa gets around when the reindeer have a day off. Or maybe he just likes cruising around the North Pole on his days off. Either way, it is quite the glam-mobile he has! So, why the gold car, you may ask. Well, I've been wanting to play with the December BRI mood board, of course! Have you played along yet? See the gorgeous inspiration below and share your creations on Instagram for a chance at a $20 credit to the Butterfly Reflections, Ink. online shop . Just tag your creations with #brimoodboard. And by the way, there is a new Instagram page for the monthly mood board challenges, so be sure to follow it @brimoodboardchallenge. Creating this card was fairly easy, as most of it consisted of die-cutting. The majority of products on the card are from My Favorite Things. Here is a list of the products I used: MFT Open Road Die-namics MFT Carpool Die-namics MFT Jingle Al...

Gingerbread Village

Hello, everyone - Happy Friday! Today, I have a "sweet" card to share using the same Trinity Stamps die that I used for my last card. When I shared my peaceful mountain village card on Monday, Vanessa said that the kraft card stock made her think of gingerbread houses. A light bulb went off in my head, and today's card is the result!  This time, I used the Slimline Rooftops die as intended - for a horizontal slimline card. Just like an actual gingerbread house, the construction of this card was pretty basic. It was the "piping" that was challenging. I'm not sure if I prefer piping icing onto real gingerbread or trying to draw tiny details on these houses, but both are fun and have endless possibilities. I could have taken this card in so many directions, like using color, gems, or stamps to add candy details. I even thought about adding some critters to make it look like they were building and decorating the houses. Let's be honest, my decorations do l...

Trick or Treat

Hello, Everyone! Allison here, and I'm back with a fun interactive Halloween card. I decided to do something a little different and incorporate the interactive feature onto a slimline card. I used several products from Mama Elephant and a few other bits, all of which are available in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink shop . I started by creating the main feature of the card, which is the Flip Slider from Mama Elephant. I cut the main element out of black cardstock. I went ahead and stamped "Pull" on the corresponding part of the element. I figured it would be easier to stamp at the beginning before I assembled the whole thing. I think my Pull stamp from MFT is retired, but Lawn Fawn has a set of great interactive stamp sentiments.  I then stamped the images that were going to be highlighted on the slider. I used the adorable Little Mummy Agenda from Mama Elephant for this. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white card stock and then colored the images with Copic...

BOOYAH!

Hello, everyone! It's Allison here, and I'm excited to be back with you and sharing another card. Today I am using a new-to-me stamp set – Mama Elephant’s Little Boo Agenda . I have not made very many Halloween cards in the past, but they’re so irresistibly cute that I’m finally giving in. I used a fun mix of products from other companies for this card, as well.  First I cut a sheet of grey cardstock in half. I scored one half into a top-folding A2 sized card base. I cut the other half into 2 equal pieces. On each of these pieces, I centered up the 4 th  largest die from the Waffle Flower A2 Layers set and cut out the center to create a frame. Did I line up the die perfectly? Nope – no I did not. But that’s okay – nobody will ever notice. Except for anyone who is reading this blog post. I then cut a piece of acetate to be slightly smaller than the frames. Using Scor-Tape , I adhered the acetate in between the two frames.    I stamped the ghosts with Memento Tuxedo ...
