Happy New Years Eve! Kim with you today and I can't believe 2018 is already over, seems that the year just flew by! I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday season so far! I am happy to be on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog today, it has been a while! I chose to share some super quick and fun Honey Bee gift card holders. The holidays often bring last minute thank you's and these are perfect for a coffee card!  I used the fantastic Frappe Shake Card Honey Cuts  dies and cut the tops (I didn't have 12x12 paper on-hand) to act as a latte gift card holder. Once those were die cut from Neena Desert Storm I took out one of the four Honey Bee Polka Dot Stencils (second largest) and used my Tonic Glitter Paste in Seaweed Quartz and Plum Spinel  (these colors of embossing paste are just beautiful and they dry super quickly) I put them to the side to dry and die cut my tops from Neena 80lbs cardstock and the sleeves from Lawn Fawn white Woodgrain cardstock a

Hi, BRI fans!  It's Andrea with you today.  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones!  It's always a little sad when it's over, though, isn't it?  Well, I have a card today that will hopefully make you smile (and get you thinking about Valentine's Day cards, too! ;) ). How sweet is that little fox?!  That cutie is from Neat & Tangled's So Foxy stamp set.  I stamped him with Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush.  The sentiment on his banner is from Neat & Tangled's So Many Sentiments set and was also stamped with Onyx Black. I created the background for my fox by inking up N & T's Hexastar Stencil with Worn Lipstick distress ink .  I mixed the same ink with a small amount of water and flicked on some splatters.  I trimmed the panel down, matted it with some patterned paper from my stash, and adhered that to a white card. Happy Saturday, everyone! It's Dana here from Dana G.Crafts and I'm sharing New Year card with you today. To begin, I stamped critters and bicycle images from Neat & Tangled Ride With ME Stamp Set using MFT Extreme Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and added highlight with White Gel Pen. For background, I ink blended A2 sized white card stock using Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Ink with clean water here and there and let it dried. I then stamped only '2019' image from Altenew 2019 Stamp Set and stamped another sentiment from Neat & Tangled Ride With Me Stamp Set.  Next, I embellished 2019 numbers with Studio Katia crystals using Multi Medium Matte. Hello everyone! Alexandra here today to share with you this card that I made combining several products from different companies to create a fun birthday card For my card today I started by stamping the images from  Party palls stamp set  from Avery Elle and color them using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers . Then I took the Craftin Desert divas  Crazy stitched frames dies and die cut the main panel for the card and then took distress inks Mermaid lagoon and Chipped sapphire and created the background. I started first using Mermaid lagoon with a light hand and because I wanted to add a bit of interest to the background I took a stencil from Create a smile stamps called  Big stars Polka  Once the background turned out as I wanted I added the images using foam tape and adhered all the images , also added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins  and my card was done! Hey friends! It's Jess , and I'm checking in for my very last card as a part of the Butterfly Reflections Ink Design Team. I can't believe how fast this term flew by - it's hard to believe it's over already! I will still you see you around the blog here and then, though! For my last card (I swore I wasn't making another Christmas card, but here we are), I went gaga for Lawn Fawn. I pulled out sets I've had in my stash for a while and got them inky! To start off, I did some stamping and masking of my fireplace scene. These images came from Lawn Fawn's ' Cozy Christmas ' set. I stamped my stockings first, then masked them off using post it tape. Then I stamped out my fireplace and the adorable little bit of fire sitting on a log. Seriously, how cute is he?! I also stamped out the super cute little cup of milk on the mantle. Hello!  Merry Christmas!!  I hope this finds you happy, healthy and with those you love this lovely day!  Yes, I know that is a lot of exclamations but I feel Christmas is deserving of them.  With Christmas in mind or any Holiday you celebrate this season, I feel that a thank you card often goes forgotten.  I myself am guilty of it.  So for today's card I a made a Thank you card.  Let me tell you how I made this super easy card.  Minutes, I tell ya. First you I stamped my images from the Frosty Littles stamp set by Hello Blue bird with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I then colored them with my copics and gave detail with my white Signo Uniball pen.  Using the coordinating Frosty Littles dies , I cut the images out.  I then trimmed a small piece from the Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Christmas 6x6 paper pad and adhered it to the card base.  I then trimmed down a piece of the Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock and adhered it to the card. Hi all and Merry Christmas Eve!  Amanda here to share my final card with you as a Butterfly Reflections Ink. DT member.   So here is my very last card I made for the holidays.  I'm currently traveling to visit with family and I do apologize if my photo isn't really clear, it's not easy to edit pics while traveling!  But I did my best and I think these super adorble images by Pink & Main really stand out! I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting the mugs from  Pink & Main Christmas Mugs Stamp & Die set .  On an A2 sized card base I glued down this pink snowflake patterned paper from MFT Candy Land 6x6 paper pack . Over that I glued down the scalloped die from Newton's Nook Designs Framework Die Set.  in a hot pink, added  white panel on that and assembled my mugs with some extra sweet candies! Hello there! Ashlea here and I'm excited to bring you a brand new video featuring 3 ways to color with ink pads that you already own. As stampers, ink is a necessity. Investing in things like markers and colored pencils can sometimes be impossible and just not an option. Not to worry! See the video below to watch how I used ink pads to color images like the one above but 3 different ways!  For all examples, I'm using I nked Flora stamp and coordinating die set by Altenew. First, I use the Zig Blender Brush Pen to pick up color from the inside of an ink cap and use it as a marker. This is a really simple tool to have in your craft room but can stretch your supplies like you wouldn't believe! For the next two ways, I use a form of watercoloring. First, I use a waterbrush to pick up ink that I've smooshed onto my glass mat. I'm then able to brush it onto a stamped piece of watercolor card stock. Alexandra here today to share with you my last Christmas card for this year and I though I will the Christmas cards series with a more festive one , so I took the Poinsettia stamp set from Mama Elephant and stamped the images multiple times using a light ink Then I started coloring the images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and coloring from dark to light and for each colors I used 3 shades Once the images were colored I fussy cut them and stamped the sentiment which is from Craftin Desert Divas  Holiday sweaters stamp set  and I have used the Versa Mark ink and a gold embossing powder as I wanted to add a bit of elegance to the card. Also because I felt that the card was still missing something I added some splatters using a gold acrylic paint . I added the flowers to my card base using foam tape and also splattered some more gold paint to the flowers and my card was done! Thank you for stopping by today! Hey friends! It's Jess , and I'm back with something a little different for you this week. I decided to jump off the Christmas train for a minute and make an all occasion card for you. I love how elegant  this turned out, but it still has that cute and whimsical feel to it. To start my card, I grabbed one of my favorite background stamps from My Favorite Things. It's called Wavy Coloring Book and the name is spot on. It's adorable! I used Hero Arts 'Soft Granite' ink and stamped out the background on to white cardstock. Then, I trimmed down the cardstock to 4in x 3.75in. I adhered my stamped panel to a white piece of cardstock (4.25x5.5) and layered a piece of vellum on top of it. I wrapped the vellum around the back of my card front so that I could use adhesive on the back without anything showing through on the front side. I got out my trusty Mini MISTI and stamped my greetings. I used two stamp sets for my sentiments. I used the Essential Sen

Hi, crafty friends! It's Cassie from Creatively Cass, and I'm here to share a non traditional holiday card with you all. Sometimes I get a little sick of the typical holiday color combos, so today I went with pastels and I ended up really liking it! Let's jump right in. I started by stamping the two ladies from Right at Home's Cuppa Friendship stamp set at the bottom of an A2 size card panel. I used my Copic markers to color them in, and added a straight line using my ruler across the bottom to look like they sitting at a table together. I loved coloring these two in! There is a lot of detail you could go into with all the lines in these images, but I kept it somewhat simple, only using a few different colors for each girl. I added detail with my white gel pen to each image.  Then I created masks for the two girls and ink blended some Milled Lavender Distress Oxide ink that faded towards the top. It's really subtle, but looks lovely in real life. 

Hey there!!  So I wanted to share a card with you that was fun and easy to make. Let me tell you how I made it. First I took an acrylic stamping block and put Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink on one half of it and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink on the other.  I spritzed some water on the stamping block letting the ink pool a little.  I then turned over the stamping block onto a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor paper  and let it sit for a few seconds.  I then took my heat gun and dried it all the way through.  I trimmed it down and stamped a greeting from the Snow Play stamp set from Hello Bluebird .  I had a image that I had stamped, colored and die cut from the North Pole Littles Stamp  set and the North Pole Littles Dies .  I adhered the cute Santa to the watercolor piece.  I then trimmed down a piece of patterned paper from the Knit Picky 6x6 paper pad from Lawn fawn and adhered it to a white card base.  Using foam adhesive, I adhered the watercolor piece to the card.

Wow we are getting really close to Christmas aren't we?!  I've got packages left to wrap, but this year I'm feeling fairly organized!   So today I'm sharing a card that I made using Hello Bluebird products.  I've got them listed below with links for your convenience.  This is a brand that I adore, I just love the whimsical images!  Winter scene cards with critters, snow and trees are my absolute favorites! I've combined the stamps/dies from Quiet Christmas along with the Joyful die from Christmas Words #2.  I inked the background in distress inks and did a little white acrylic paint splatter to show some gently falling snow.  I had one little die cut snowflake sitting on my desk from the Frosty Flakes set, so I added it for a little extra. Hi friends!   It's Jacquie and I'm excited to be guesting here on the blog today...just a little over a week before Christmas!  If you're like me, cards are coming in the mail from people that maybe I did not expect a card from, and they were not on my original list.  What to do?  I whip up a few quick cards, that's what! These cards are SUPER easy...one layer, one stamp set, no fussy anything...just some coloring. I stamped the pretty floral images from Altenew Festive Poinsettias on some white card stock, using some Gina K Designs Amalgam ink . And then I colored them with my Copic markers. On the darker card, well, I have a confession...I had a little mark on there, so instead of tossing it, I decided to color the entire background.  And I love how that turned out. Hey Crafters! I'm happy to see you all here on the blog today! Today I'm sharing a festive holiday card that's sure to drive the chill of the season right away! This card can be very easily mass produced, so definitely keep it in your arsenal to use for quick and simple holiday cards. Start out by stamping an image from the Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags stamp set on to white cardstock. You can combine or use any of the images from the set to create the completed coffee cup image your heart desires! I chose to use the cup, whip cream, and holly leaf images. I also used the coffee cozy image for my sentiment area and added a little bit of copic marker shading to the coffee cozy and the whip cream image. Use a clean and simple panel die to trim down that coffee image and then adhere it on to a piece of patterned paper that has a subtle pattern. Hello everyone ! Alexandra here today and wanted to share with you a card that i' ve created using some Lawn Fawn products combinate with and older die cut that I had on my stash from Memory box. For my card I started by stamping the images from Frosty fairy friends stamp set , and colored them using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Once all the images were colored and cut I started working on the background and took this snowflake die from Memory box called Snowy scene and I really love that this die cuts and emboss snowflakes si you can have more usage of it! To create the background I wanted something different from my usual blue background but still wanted to have a bit of blue as I used some for my images . So I took my all time favorite Distress ink which is Peacock feathers and Seedless Preserved distress ink and initially I thought that it will be a hot mess :)) but I really loved how unique the background turned out!
