Flower Shower Shaker Card and Box

Hello! Today I’m back on the blog with a Mama Elephant project. I made a shaker card using the new Flower Shower stamp set and made a matching Petite Treat Box as well. We’ve had a lot of rain in the Netherlands last week, so this card was totally inspired by it. For the card I used the Comic Cover Wonky die on some Mermaid cardstock . I stamped pretty much all of the images from Flower Shower with Jet Black Ink and colored them with my Copic Sketch Markers. The colors I used were: R000, R20, 0, C00, C0, C1, C3, N0, N1, N3, N5, E51, E53, E55, E57, V01, V05, V06, V09, BV01, BV02, BV04, BV08, B60, B63, B66, B69, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19, YR15, YG00, YG01, YG11, YG13, YG17, G24, G28, G29, BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out and used a black glaze pen to add some dimension to their eyes. Next I added the images to the Comic Cover Wonky with some liquid glue. Then I put some acetate behind the cover and I added some foam strips to it. I decide

Happy birthday card with Annemarijn

Hi there! I'm back on the blog with a happy birthday card. These bears are having a birthday party with donuts, ice cream and other sweet treats. All you need on a party right? Let me show you how I made this card.  First I stamped the images that I was going to use. I used memento ink on copic friendly paper. I stamped the bears from snow much fun and den sweet den . The sweets I stamped are from sweet friends and unicorn picnic . The birthday hats I stamped from yeti or not . Next I colored the images with copic markers and cut them.  Then I adhered all the images together and I thought it would be fun to have the big bear holding a the big donut. Next I made the background and I used the perfectly plaid cardstock from lawn fawn. I love making cute backgrounds with distress oxide , but sometimes when I'm a bit lazy and don't want to get dirty hands I just use cute cardstock (and I'm a cute cardstock hoarder so need to use it sometimes). I choose to make a slimlin

Little Llamas 🦙

Hello crafty friends! It's Veronica here and today I'm back on the blog with another cute card that features some adorable llamas from the Little Llama Agenda Stamp Set by Mama Elephant 🦙 To create my scene, I stamped the mountains from the Scene Builder Stamp Set by Mama Elephant on a piece of Neenah Solar White paper. I masked them to blend the background first: I used Distresses Oxide in Kitsch Flamingo and Squeezed Lemonade for the sky and Mowed Lawn for the grass. Next, I stamped my cute llamas on a piece of Transotype paper and I colored all the images with my Copic Ciao Markers . I also added a sentiment from the Critter Concert Stamp Set by Lawn Fawn.  To finish off my card, I die cut a frame with Lawn Fawn dies and I glued everything on a basis of kraft paper. Really hope you liked my project! From Italy with love, Veronica

Sending big hugs!

Hello friends it's Laura here and I'm back with my last card for the month of May! I have finally used this new Lawn Fawn die that you can find here  I colored the background with the distress oxide salvaged patina . I've  used the stencil Thought Bubbles  . I've cut the hill with the die Simple Stitched Hillside  and I've colored it with distress oxide Mowed Lawn                                                                  I've cut out the die twice in the cardstock paper bag and I've stamped it with  Woodgrain Backdrops stamp . Then I've stamped the squirrels using the Let's Go Nuts stamp set and colored them with my beloved copic markers!          Then I've glued all the squirrells around the big and bold sentiment and I love how it turned out!                                                                   I hope you'll like my card for today! Thank you for stopping by, Laura  INSTAGRAM

Galaxy card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm back on the blog with a galaxy themed card. I love making galaxy's, first I mostly made them with watercolor but now I use distress oxide to make it. I'm going to tell you how I made this card! I started with making the background for the galaxy background. I always choose some cute distress oxide colors like pink/purple/orange/yellow whatever you like and this time I choose picked raspberry , wilted violet , squeezed lemonade and cracked pistachio . I just blend it a bit random with my  ink blending tool  and then I blend some blueprint sketch on top and just on the edges a little bit of black soot . Now the ink blending part is done I platter some water on top, some white watercolor for the stars and some liquid stardust for some extra sparkle. I also splattered white watercolor on some black cardstock for the background behind the flaps and let everything dry. Next I stamped al my images lawn fawn stamp sets  out of this world and super
