Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hello everyone! Alexandra here today to share with you this card that I made combining several products from different companies to create a fun birthday card For my card today I started by stamping the images from  Party palls stamp set  from Avery Elle and color them using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers . Then I took the Craftin Desert divas  Crazy stitched frames dies and die cut the main panel for the card and then took distress inks Mermaid lagoon and Chipped sapphire and created the background. I started first using Mermaid lagoon with a light hand and because I wanted to add a bit of interest to the background I took a stencil from Create a smile stamps called  Big stars Polka  Once the background turned out as I wanted I added the images using foam tape and adhered all the images , also added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins  and my card was done! Hello everyone! Alexandra here today to share with you my last Christmas card for this year and I though I will the Christmas cards series with a more festive one , so I took the Poinsettia stamp set from Mama Elephant and stamped the images multiple times using a light ink Then I started coloring the images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and coloring from dark to light and for each colors I used 3 shades Once the images were colored I fussy cut them and stamped the sentiment which is from Craftin Desert Divas  Holiday sweaters stamp set  and I have used the Versa Mark ink and a gold embossing powder as I wanted to add a bit of elegance to the card. Also because I felt that the card was still missing something I added some splatters using a gold acrylic paint . Happy New Year crafty friends! Can't believe it is 2018! I am looking forward to the New Year and I am pleased to be with you today sharing this Yeti New Year card! All of the products used are available at the Butterfly Reflections Ink. shop. I ordered this fantastic Yeti Fun set by Craftin Dessert Divas late in the season and I so wanted to use it! This set can also be used for winter themed cards which, is fun. I decided to use the "snow angel" Yeti because he is just too cute! I die cut my panel from the MFT Stitched Mod Rectangle Stax  and stamped my image with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink  (Copic friendly ink) I colored him with my Copic markers  using the BV family for the illusion of snow. I then used a mix of sentiments from the Hero Arts Wonderful Stamp and Cut  and the Lawn Fawn Happy, Happy, Happy add-on  (New Year).
