Hello, everyone! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts ! I am excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog , today! If I planned ahead better, I might have had a plan to do a leap year card, but I didn't. But I hope you all enjoy the extra day! First of all, let's talk about all the different goodies that are available in Butterfly Reflections, Ink store. So many new brands and new lines coming out. However, I wanted to add some dimension to the card. Today's card, I tried something different for me. I made the scene with a frame popped up around the picture. Hello! Chari here, and I'm happy to be back today with another Guest Designer project for the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog! I hope you are all enjoying the new Lawn Fawn goodies now that they are available.  Today I have a fun Birthday card for you with a bit more of a masculine tone using the new Loveable Legends set.  This set is so fun with the images of Nessie, the Kracken and Bigfoot all in that cute Lawn Fawn style.   I used a woodgrain paper from My Mind's Eye for my background to set the masculine tone.  I was going for a sort of nautical feel so I pulled out the Blue Jay and Chili Pepper cardstock to cut the stitched frame and scalloped circle from. I chose a blue plaid from the Perfectly Plaid collection for the background of my frame and layered some die cut vellum waves over top. I stamped Nessie and his party hat on cream colored cardstock to mute my copic coloring just slightly adding some white gel pen dot details. I used some Mermai

Hi guys, its Sharna. I'm back with 2 cards for you today. I absolutely had to have my hands on this set as soon as it came out. I just adore these fairies don't you? I use my distress inks & wink of stella in the background and copics to color the stamps. This second card is made using Lumberjack Love from Neat & Tangled designed by Elena. I just fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it. I think it works all year round. I combined it with a sentiment from a Lawn Fawn set. Hi there! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here! I'm finally using the adorable kitties from Greeting Farm!! This set is called Purfect Cats . Vanessa has just restocked these cuties in the shop. They have coordinating dies too. I love that the kitties are big and chubby, totally my cup of tea. If I have cats, they will look exactly like this - big and fat and always want to eat. I made this scene because I think this will be how they celebrate their birthday. Their faces are so close to the cake, looks like they can't wait to dig in :) Here is my step-by-step. Hello friends! I have a fun card to share with you today, using some fun My Favorite Things products, you can find in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink shop! I love the Horizontal Stitched Cover-up Companion Die from MFT, and used that as the frame for my card. First, though, I added some red ink to the background, as well as a piece of MFT's Country Fair Patterned Paper , in Red. Using the adorable Recipe For Happiness set, I stamped the chef onto white card stock, as well as a few utensils, and colored them with Copic Markers. I then cut them out, and placed them onto my card. I stamped my sentiment last, and adhered it all to my card base. I hope you enjoyed, and are inspired to play with your stamps, and inks! Hey folks! I had a lot of fun making the Card that I'm here to share with you today! It's so simple and sweet, I can't stand it! So I started by stamping the Memory Box Thoughtful Bunny Stamp Set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and did some simple Copic Coloring. This wan't even 5 minutes worth of coloring peeps. Soo easy. I also stamped some Masks with Inkadinkado Stamp Masking Paper . I only covered the Images that would be the closest to edges of where I would do my Ink Blending. Before I started Ink Blending, I Masked off the Panel on both sides and where I wanted the Grass to be. You could skip the Masking down the sides if you wanted, because there are Panels going over the top. I masked it off because I really wanted the sharper, darker edges that masking gives you. Using a  Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool  I added some My Favorite Things Blue Yonder Ink , then moved the Mask for the Grass to Mask off the Sky and added My Favorite Things Gumdrop Gre

Hey guys! It feels good to be back blogging for Butterfly Reflections Ink as a guest!  Today I have a thank you card featuring Altenew's Wild Hibiscus stamp set and the thanks die from Hero Arts' thanks stamp and cut set . Here's how I created my card: I die cut a scalloped rectangle from a piece of water color cardstock using WPlus9's sunshine layers die . I masked off the scalloped edges, using the stitches as a guide, and repeatedly stamped the 3 butterfly images from Altenew's Wild Hibiscus stamp set  with Versamark ink.  I sprinkled the stamped images with Wow white embossing powder, and heat set.   I removed my masking tape, and watercolored the stamped panel using Tim Holtz distress inks.  I used Ripe Persimmon, Picked Raspberry , and for my purple, I used a combination of Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet .   For my sentiment, I diecut the thanks from Hero Arts' thanks stamp and cut set 3 times out of black cardstock.  I glued the diec

Hello there! Samantha here! I'm so excited to share my latest layout with you! I have to admit, this one is definitely more mixed media, than not...but it's still what I like to classify as 'mixed media-lite!' Ha! :) Of course, I used a ton of prodcuts from the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop - duh! :) I started with a 12x12 piece of white cardstock. Then I used lots of papers from the 6x6 Journey paper pad ! I used it to matte my photo, and also to add strips under part of the title. I also used lots of those acetate triangles from Pinkfresh Studio - they come out with the BEST new products!! I added some of the cloud and heart piffy stickers from the October Afternoon Summertime collection! Love puffy stickers!! The 'mountain' word of the title actually started out as white Thickers , but I used my grey copic markers to make them grey stripes! So fun, right?! Hello! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here! Today I'm playing with Altenew's Way Too Sweet set . I combine it with My Favorite Things' Winter Wonderland  to build a Candy Town. The town has a lollipop, a cookie house, a chocolate tree, cupcakes, popsicles, and a sledge carrying a candy. Everything is edible, including the marshmallow clouds! :) This card is really easy to make. Usually, the spirit of my card is the story and design :) Sometimes it's harder to execute (e.g. the love story between monkey and birdie ), sometimes it isn't. Today's card happens to be really easy to execute. Here is the step-by-step: Stamp all images in black copic friendly ink, mask when necessary. Color with Copic markers Blend the marshmallow sky with a stencil made with Die-namics Stitched Cloud Edges  using pink and peach inks Stamp the sentiment on Die-namics Blueprints 25 and mount with foam tape Hope you like my card today. I am Janette , and today I bring you a card that features the newly released Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens . They do indeed sparkle, they are scrumptious! Raise your hand if you are all about the adult coloring book craze currently sweeping the nation? My hand is sky high and I believe instead of letting those colored pages hide inside a book, we should give them life. All that glitz is hard to capture on film or rather, in pixels, so I've included several shots. Rest assured, it is spectacular!    This flower is from the Tula Pink coloring book. I began by copying it onto a heavy weight card stock. Often the paper found in color books is not suitable for wet mediums, so if you favor one of those techniques, I highly recommend you copy the design onto paper that is. Hello! I am so glad you could join me today. I have a fun little card to share using Hero Art's Cactus Stamp set .  I started with a panel of watercolor paper, and wet it liberally with water, dropping in pink, yellow, and green Distress inks . I allowed those to blend, and then dry, before trimming the panel down. I popped up the panel onto a white card base, and stamped my sentiment in the center. I stamped out the cactus, and colored it with Copic Markers , before trimming it down, and popping it up onto the card. To finish it I added a few rhinestones! I hope you've enjoyed! Hey folks! I'm back today to share a couple of quick cards with you all! I am over then moon (no pun intended) (no really) for the new My Favorite Things Out of This World Stamp Set ! For real peeps, it's soo much fun and what a great change from the "pretties" I've been working with so much lately. I stamped the Ship twice with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink , and colored one in with Pink and Teal Copic's and the other with Blue and Orange Copic's . I loved the idea that these Images could be used for a girl or a boy! Next, using the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Circle Die , I die cut the centers out of two cardstock panels. Using a Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool , I blended Sno Cone , Blue Yonder , Blueberry , Boysenberry and Eggplant My Favorite Thing Hybrid Inks to make it look like a night sky. I mixed up a some Ranger Perfect Pearls and Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Picket Fence and splattered it over both Circles. I used the

Hi all!  Angel here with a card using a new stamp set from Wplus9 called Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus .  I called this gorgeous stamp with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers after embossing it with silver embossing powder .  Talk about therapeutic! :D  I kept this as a one layer card because the flowers turned out so bold, I didn't want anything to distract from them. Hi! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here with a floral card today. It's no joke that the Wplus9 Ranunculus set is the hottest product right now. Not only it's so well designed, it can also be used in so many ways!!! Here is my take on it using watercolor :) With the help of my MISTI , stamp the bouquet in Versamark ink and white heat emboss it. Mask when necessary to fill in the lower half of the card Color in the bouquet using Gansai Tambi watercolor . I used very vibrant colors this time because it's Chinese New Year! Everything should be super vibrant and happy!!  Add gold and white paint splatters Gold heat emboss the sentiment "sending" on the card and "hugs" on vellum Embellish with some twine to finish That's it for my card. Welcome to the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog and good Thursday to you all! I know, I know... you are almost to that 3 day weekend and you are restless in waiting. Well, I am Janette and I'm here to give you a little creative inspiration to get you there. Today, I present this fab and simple shaker card. Truly. Simple. You can do this! If you can stamp an image and hold a paint brush, you can create this card. To begin, I stamped the Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus  (what we have affectionately dubbed redonkulous Ranunculus) by WPlus9 on Prima Marketing watercolor paper in Versamark Ink and embossed it with clear detail powder .  I then wet an entire flower and tapped the paper with my Gansai Tambi watercolor  loaded paintbrush.  The color filled each section splendidly. I repeated this method with each subsequent section. I prefer to let my watercolor work dry naturally as you will get a more natural blending and spreading of pigment than you will by heat setting. H
