Mama Elephant's Mod Heart Two Ways

Hi Everyone, Peggy here with inspiration spotlighting the Mod Heart dies by Mama Elephant. These were in the January 2022 release and it's a super versatile set. I will be showing you two cards I made, using both the window that remains in the paper after cutting out the large heart, as well as using the pieces that pop out. Both of my cards feature the cute birthday cake hamster from the February 2022 release set Celebration Hamster , stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored with copic markers. Feel free to ask for copic numbers, if you are interested! Card 1 For my first card, I wanted to make a shaker. I took a piece of pretty paper fit for a birthday card. Mine was an Echo Park  6x6 patterned paper, with pinks, blues, yellows and black. But you can choose any paper you like and customize for any occasion. I cut the patterned paper using the wonky rectangle in the Mod Heart set. I saved the remaining piece of the patterned paper for my second card. I cut a second wonky...

Sweet As Pie

Hi readers!  This is Crystal here today sharing a yummy Thanksgiving card using the new "Sweet as Pie" stamp set by SugarPea Designs.   This stamp set has my name written all over it.  "Sweet" and "pie" in the same sentence?  Yes, please!  It's no secret that I L-O-V-E-sweets and with Thanksgiving coming up next week, I'm thinking all things pumpkin and apple right now using this set.  The base of this A2 sized card is made from Kraft cardstock.  I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of plaid paper similar to that of the Echo Park My Favorite Fall paper pack and adhered this to the card base. Using the Hello Bluebird Gallery Frame #2 die , I cut the frame from orange cardstock. I lined the back of the frame with a piece of Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock.   I stamped the sentiment "You're as sweet as pie" in a brown ink directly onto the white base lining.  Next, I stamped the images from the "Sweet as Pie...

Make Something Beautiful

Hi, crafty friends - Kathy here!  I don't know about you, but I need to do something creative everyday.  Other than reading a good book, the time spent in my craft room lets my mind go to another place and I totally lose track of time! For my card, I layered a few patterns from Echo Park Just Be You paper pad .  All images are from Right At Home .  The coffee cups, which I paper pieced with other coordinating patterns from Echo Park Just Be You paper pad , are from the Cup of Joy stamp set . I placed the paint brushes in one cup and a wood coffee stirrer in the 'to go' cup.  The crafty items and sentiment are from the Make Something Beautiful stamp set.  I then added some glitter touches using a clear Wink of Stella brush tip marker . Hope you'll follow us via email , Facebook and/or Instagram so you're sure to catch all the projects the DT shares...not to mention, you'll be among the first to hear about deals and specials!

Jolly Holiday Wishes

Hello, again, friends!  It's Andrea back with you today.  In case you haven't finished your Christmas cards, here's another one to inspire you (hopefully).  I'm taking my kiddos to visit Santa today, so a Santa-themed card was in order!  This Santa and deer from Reverse Confetti's Jolly Holiday are some of the cutest I've seen.  After stamping both with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink , I colored them with Copics and cut them out.  Naturally, I couldn't resist adding some highlights with a white gel pen .  I also brushed on a bit of clear Wink of Stella and gave Rudolph a shiny nose with Glossy Accents . I just love the  whimsical nature of that patterned paper, don't you?  It's from Echo Park Paper's Deck the Halls paper pad .  The tree paper was die-cut with MFT's Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics .  The frame was created by layering two dies together.  For a similar look, you can use Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitch...
