Last minute Holiday tags

Hello friends!  Well, Christmas is only a week away, and I'm sure everyone is finishing up last minute shopping, baking and crafting!  Today I am sharing some quick tags, these are great for gift wrapping, or even gift giving! These tags are so simple and quick to make!  I started off by blending Distress Oxide ink onto an A2 sized card panel.  I used a MFT Drifts & Hills stencil to make a snow line.  I added some water drops and splattered some white paint for snow.  I cut two tags out of the card panel using WPlus9 Christmas tag die set. I stamped and quickly colored using Copic markers on these cute images from Avery Elle Sledding Critters and Lawn Fawn and cut them out. My favorite ink for this is Altenew Black Crisp Permanent ink - it's such a dark black, and performs beautifully with all the different Alcohol markers. Baaah Humbug Christmas Tags with Audrey

Hello there!! Audrey here!  Can you believe it's Christmas Eve?!  Holy sheep, did this year go fast!!  Speaking of sheep, I couldn't let the holiday season come to a close without using one of my most favorite stamp sets of 2015, Lawn Fawn's Baaah Humbug !  I just can't get enough of these cute little critters!  I needed to make gift tags for a few packages, and these are the perfect size!  I stamped and colored the standing sheep, a bunch of packages and Santa hats, and then diecut them all with the coordinating Baaah Humbug dies .  To create a tag, I diecut the sheep 6 more times, this time, with no stamping, so it was just the sheep shape (say that 5 times fast!).  I punched a tiny hole the the top of the blank sheep, and added a horizontal score line just below the hole.  Before adhering the front of the tag, I threaded some red and white twine through the holes, and then glued the two pieces together with a strip of scor-tape.  I ...

Tags Part #2 - No Stamping Required

Hello and Happy Sunday!  Lisa here with a part 2 in my tag share and tell.  Last time my Christmas tags were all about the stamping, but this time I'm showing you how you can create fast and simple tags using nothing but patterned paper and a few embellishments... Now to show you what all of this up above can turn into... Supplies Used: Dies: MFT Stitched Tags Patterned Paper: Lawn Fawn (Snowy Day 6 x 6 paper pad) Enamel Dots: MME (Ashbury Heights) These tags are so quick to make thanks to the super cute Lawn Fawn paper pad.  Just trim what you want, stick them all together and add some embellishments.  Want a little more detail?  Add bells and extra bows to the top as I have on my second tag.  Thanks for stopping by and make sure you pick up some new goodies from the store so you can get crafting! Christmas Gift Card Tags

Hello!  Lisa here, and I am delighted to be guesting today here on the blog!  Christmas is fast approaching, and as we paper crafters have been in the spirit for a little while, we are now starting to get into the shopping spirit as well.  I always have a lot of gift cards to buy on my lists, and it always seems so booorrrriiinnnngggg!  So this year I've spiced them up a bit...
