Elegant Congrats

Hi there friends! Crystal here with a very unique card that can be used in many occasions. This card is now one of my favorites as it features lots of my favorite companies! Let's get started! First I started with a white card stock base. Next I die cut a black card stock with Altenew Dodec  . I selectively took out pieces and left some in place. This die cut was placed over a sheet of patterned paper from My Minds Eye "Yes Please" 6x6 paper pad. The ribbon is a sticker from My Minds Eye Yes Please   collection.  The "congrats" is a die from Winnie & Walter cut from My Minds Eye  paper pack. To finish a heart shape sticker was adhered with 3d foam adhesive to give this card some dimension. Due to the colors of this card, i feel it can be for engagement or wedding, even a bridal shower. Thanks so much for stopping  by today! Have a great day. Crystal

Kraft and colored pencils!

Happy Monday! Kim with you this morning and I am sharing an anniversary card today made with one of my favorite mixes - colored pencils on Kraft card stock! These are all products you can find in BR shop ! I started with a piece of Kraft card stock and stamped my flowers and leaves from Winnie & Walter's In Bloom - Addie's Garden  (I am obsessed with this set lately) set with Kraft colored ink and I colored them with my Prismacolor pencils. I guess with Easter around the corner, my color palette became what it is! When it came time to add a sentiment (this is an anniversary card for my parents :)) I, again, turned to my current obsession, the Lawn Fawn Happy, Happy, Happy L awn Cuts and stamps .  I stamped the anniversary sentiment on a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper and die cut the Happy out of lavender card stock and stamped the "happy" on top in Versafine Onyx Black. I then felt that the left side looked slightly empty so I pu...

Happy flowers in winter!

Happy Monday! Kim here with you this morning and I am sharing a bright happy floral card! I am not of fan of winter, and like many of you the snow has decided to invade in February this year! I started with a Strathmore Bristol card base cut to 5.5 x 12 which are the measurements indicated by the directions for the fantastic Concord and 9th Hugs die .  I lined up my die as directed in the video on the Concord and 9th blog and then folded my card accordingly.  I then took the Winnie and Walter In Bloom: Addie's Garden stamps  (I simply love all of their In Bloom collection) and stamped my images with Versamark Ink.  I only needed one mask of the larger flower to be able to stamp the other florals and leaves. I did have to be carful of warping because I had to heat emboss each image as I went. I then took my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (two of each shade) and my water brush to color my images.  I then die cut the hugs die (only the word) out of...

Hello, all! It's Lynnea and I have another Christmas card for you! First, let me wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving! Whether you are celebrating with friends and family, donating your time at a soup kitchen, getting ready for some amazing sales, or one of the poor souls that have to work ( I feel for you! I was a manager at Target for a while! ) .... I wish you the happiest of days! I have two cards to share today! But before I share them, be sure to head over to the  Butterfly Reflections, Ink shop  for 25% your order (some exclusions apply) ! The sale is all ready going on and will go through Monday! Happy shopping! I can't keep my hands off of the new  Bells and Bows stamp set  from Altenew! I love how realistic the images are! I feel like I can pick the bows right up off of the paper! I started by stamping both sizes of the bows all over the card bases. I used 3 colors of green and 3 colors of red...although my lightest color for the red bow is a...

Happy Mother's Day

Hello there, friends! It is officially my last post for Butterfly Reflections, Ink . I have thoroughly enjoyed creating inspiration for you, here. Today, I created a card for Mother's Day, using a lovely Winnie & Walter stamp set called In Bloom: Anna's Flora . I have used this set so many times, and it is surely a classic floral stamp set that everyone needs in there collection. I began by stamping a flower, leaves, and a sprig around the edges of the card. I chose the daisy, as it's my mom's favorite flower, and colored all of the images with Copic Markers. I then stamped the large Happy from The Big, the Bold, and Happy , using black ink in the center. I continued my sentiment below using Versamark ink, and gold embossing powder. I took all of the stamps I used, and stamped over my originally stamped images a bit offset using Versamark, and sprinkled gold powder over everything. I then heat set it, making sure to have pre heat my tool so it was ...

So Tweet

Hey folks! I'm back today to share a super sweet and simple card with you all! This is my last post for the current Butterfly Reflections, Ink Design Team. It has truly been an honor being a part of this amazing company and team these last few months peeps! For my card today, I used the Winnie & Walter So Tweet Stamp Set . These lil birds are so stinkin cute, I can't even stand it! I kept these guys pretty simple. I stamped the, with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them in with Copic's . If I were to do this card again, I would stamp them in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat emboss them with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder . I think the lil bit of extra texture and dimension on the finished card would be groovy. I chose to color the ground in with Copic's as well, but I wanted to give the sky behind my lil chicks a more softer look, so I masked them off with Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper , then using a Ranger Ink Mini Blending Tool , I lightly b...

You Are Amazing

Hello, hello! Lindsay here, sharing a floral card using a few older sets from Winnie & Walter! I know I have used it before, but the  In Bloom: Anna's Flora  set is one of my favorites. I started with a card stock panel, and stamped a cluster of images in the top corner. I masked off some of the flowers, to add leaves, and then I colored them in with Copic Markers. Using The Big, the Bold, and You stamp set, I stamped my sentiment in black ink, and added strips of gold glitter paper, and black card stock to the side. I then adhered the panel to a white card base. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you give your older stamp sets some love! Have a crafty day!

Love You So Much!

Hello, friends! Emily Midgett here doing a guest post. I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!  On to my project. The Winnie and Walter florals are so gorgeous... so versatile. There are several floral sets, but they mix and match seamlessly. The Elsa's Flora set contains more Christmas-y images, but there are also some stunning roses and camellias, as well as some great berry sprays. Anna's Flora contains less seasonally-specific flowers, but they are all drawn in the same style, so it makes combining sets look seamless! I used a combination of the two sets to do some no-line watercoloring. To start with, I chose which flower I wanted to be at the forefront of my bouquet, then stamped it on the watercolor card stock in Antique Linen Distress Ink (if you don't have Antique Linen, any very light ink will do). I then stamped the rest of the bouquet, making certain to wipe off any ink on the stamp that was going to overlap on my main flower. After I had fini...

Gratitude

Hello... Brandi  here with a colorful card of Gratitude for my first post as a Butterfly Ink-er. What am I grateful for? Well for  Vanessa  for giving me this fun opportunity to share some creativity with you all. For this bright and cheerful card, I watercolored up the beautiful images from the Winnie and Walter Addie's Garden stamp  set  using Zig Clean Color Real Brush  markers . I used Memento Tuxedo Black  ink  for the outline of my flowers and the Wplus9 Gratitude sentiment . This ink  is my go to for clean crisp lines when using watercolors.   After coloring the images in I cut them out by hand and placed them on the card base with pop up dots making sure to curl the edges of my leaves for an added dimension. Well I hope you have enjoyed my daily dose of inspiration and don't forget to stop by the BRI  store  to pick up any of the supplies for this card! Have a great weekend. Brandi

Warm Hugs and Kisses

Hello, Butterfly Reflections friends! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts and I am excited to share with you a fun and simple card!   When I saw this fun scene paper in the AC Jack Frost 6X6 pad , I wanted to create a scene with this adorable penguin from Winnie & Walter .     The scenery paper is used for the back layer of the card. The snowdrifts are created with white cardstock and snowdrift dies (similar to these in the BRI shop). The image is stamped/colored/amd cut out. A sentiment is stamped to follow the flow of the snowdrift. To finish the card, I attached a few punched out snowflakes.   Thank you for stopping by today! Don't forget to stop by the shop for the special sale going on now!   Supplies:  American Crafts - Jack Frost Winnie & Walter Stamps My Favorite Things - Snow Drifts
