A Wild Birthday!

Hello! Candice  back with you today!  Some of my favorite scenes to create are with jungle animals and leaves, maybe it's the colors or just the fun combination they create, and I have a card full for you today! I used a few different brands that can all be found in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store : Avery Elle Peek-a-boo Jungle stamps & coordinating dies Avery Elle Peek-a-boo Pals stamps & coordinating dies Sunny Studio Fabulous Flamingos stamps & coordinating dies Sunny Studio Tropical Scenes stamps & coordinating dies I began my card with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits nicely into your standard size envelopes. For the background, I first trimmed some thick white cardstock to break the card into two areas and adhered them to a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock inked with salty ocean & tumbled glass with foam tape. Next, I stamped all the jungle animals, ferns and flowers from the stamp sets listed above, colored them

Sweet Swans

Hello!  So great to be back with you.  Today I am sharing with you a card I made for couples in mind. This can be a card for weddings, anniversaries, etc. I loved how this turned out. So simple and yet so pretty! Here are the step by step instructions to make this card: Make card base with 110lb white cardstock.  Stamp all the images from the Lawn Fawn Swan Swoiree  with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.   Color them with copic markers and use the coordinating dies to cut them out.  The single cat tail stamp is from the Lawn Fawn Toadally Awesome set cut out with the coordinating dies . I stamped the water onto the card with a blue ink.  I then adhered all the images with foam adhesive. To finish the card, I added some sequins and jewels from the Coral Coast Sparkletz pack from Buttons Galore .   I love how pretty and sweet this card turned out.  I hope you enjoy it as well.  I will catch you next time!  MWAH!

Dreams Come True

Hello Hello!! I'm thrilled to be back on the BRI blog to share another fun slimline card featuring the adorable mice from Lawn Fawn.  First I cut two pieces of Bristol smooth cardstock using Trinity Stamps stitched card panel . I used one of the panel to cut out the hill to ground my images. For this I used Lawn Fawns slimline stitched hillside borders.  Next I ink blended one of the panel using distress oxide inks in seedless preserves, victoria velvet, and tattered rose and for the hill I used mowed lawn and shabby shutters. To add interest I diluted the same colors with some water and splattered it on the panels using a small brush. I set the panels to dry while I start coloring the images. I used all the mice from the Dandy Day stamp set and one mice (sitting down) from Crazy Antics , the mushrooms are from Oh Gnome . I colored all the images using copic markers and cut them out using their coordinating dies. For the sentiment I wanted to create a big word sentiment so I went

Jungle Friends - July Mood Board

Hi friends! Tammy here with a fun slimline card, featuring the newest release from Pretty Pink Posh . I let the fiery colors from the July Mood board be the inspiration for this card. To begin, I cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock using the Trinity Stamps Slimline Card Series: Stitched Card Panels and Windows.  I then ink blended the background, starting from the top, with Festive Berries , Picked Raspberry , Ripe Persimmon , and Spiced Marmalade  Distress Oxide inks. I then placed the leaf stencil from the Layered Leaves & Flower Stencils  over my inked background and sponged the same ink colors to add a bit of texture and interest. Next, I added some water droplets and black acrylic paint splatters, and set aside to dry. I then die cut a white window frame, using the Stitched card Panels and Windows again, and attached to the inked background at a slight angle using foam tape. Next, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the following sets:
