Showers of joy card with Leontine

Hello! Last week I shared a card with the cute ducks from singing in the rain . Today I’m sharing a card with the girl and clouds from that set. This time it’s a one layer card with bright and happy colors. I cut a piece of copic friendly paper to 4¼ by 5,5 inches. I stamped the clouds, the girl and the sentiment with jet black ink , because I colored everything with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used BG0000, BG70, BG72, B00, B02, B04, G12, 0, C0, C1, Y13, Y15, Y17, YR14, YR16, YR18, R20, R22, R24, R27, R29, V01, V04, V06, RV21, RV23, RV25, YG05, YG07, YG09, YG11, YG13, YG17, E000, E00, E13, E21, E51, E53, E55 and E57 to color the images and the entire background. The rainbow is hand drawn. I started making very light pencil marks at the top of the right cloud and then I colored them in. I covered the rainbow with my nuvo aqua shimmer glitter gloss pen and added some raindrops with Glossy Accents to finish it off. Then I added the panel to a card base and it was finished. I hope yo...

Happy birthday card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends, Today I'm back on the blog with a happy birthday card with the giant happy birthday to you die from the newest lawn fawn release. I'm obsessed with this die so needed to make a card with it for the blog! Let me tell you how I made it.  First I stamped the images from scootin' by on some copic friendly paper and cut them. Next I colored them with copic markers . The background I cut from the blue color from the watercolor wishes rainbow paper pad . Next I die cut one giant happy birthday to you from the watercolor wishes rainbow paper pad and another one from the purple color. For the grass I used the older watercolor wishes paper pad  and cut it with the stitched hillside borders . Next I adhered everything together and stamped the sentiment on a everyday sentiment banner . That's the card for today! I hope you like it and got some inspiration from it. Have a great week with lots of crafty fun. See you next week with a new card. Lots of love, Annem...

Rainbow Balloons 🌈

Hello crafty friends! It's Veronica here and I'm very happy to be back on the blog with my second DT project 🙆 For this occasion I created a super colorful card featuring Balloon Besties Stamp Set by My Favorite Things. I just love those flying cuties! First of all, I created the background by ink blending some Distress Oxide in Picked Raspberry , Peacock Feathers and Shabby Shutters on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 Lb paper. I wanted to have just a stripe colored, not the whole panel. I also splattered some water and white paint to give texture. Then, I stamped my images on a piece of Transotype paper in Memento Tuxedo Black , I colored my critters with a bunch of Copic Markers and fuzzy cut them. At this point I added some details with my White Glaze Jelly Roll Pen .                          Before assembling the card with some foam, I realized my bac...

Care bear rainbow reveal wheel card with Leontine

Hello everyone! My name is Leontine and I’m very excited to be on the design team for the next few months. I'm a teacher from the Netherlands and I've been married for almost five years now. I started making cards in May 2019 and I've been sharing all of my creations on Instagram and on my YouTube channel. Today I’m posting my first card on this blog and it's a bright and colorful one . I’m going to tell you how I made this card. First I die cut the reveal wheel with the puffy cloud add-on from some white cardstock. Then I used one of the hillside stencils and made a duplicate out of some white cardstock. Now I had the perfect way to add all of my distress inks. I used worn lipstick , dried marigold , squeezed lemonade , twisted citron , salvaged patina and wilted violet . I made sure the colors came from the cloud and got bigger towards the bottom of the card. Next I grabbed the starry sky stencil and used spun sugar , dried marigold , squeezed lemonade ...

Scalloped Slimline Joy

Happy Friday, Everyone! Allison here, and I have a fun slimline card to share with you today. I just cannot stop creating slimline cards, especially because it allows me to use some old favorites in new ways. These Bitty Bears from MFT were one of the first stamp sets I ever bought, and I still love them. Combining them with new products is just one way to keep them fresh. All of the products used for this card today can be found in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink online shop . I came up with the idea for this card when I realized that one of my favorite patterned papers from Waffle Flower was large enough to use with the slimline scallop die from Mama Elephant's Slim Card Basics set . I wanted the entire card to be scallop shaped, so I cut the front out of the rainbow paper and the back out of white heavyweight card stock. It's easy to create a shaped card out of two separate pieces - all you have to do is score a line at the top of the back piece in order to create a "...

Taylored Expressions

G ood Morning Friends! It is Dana here today and I am excited to be back sharing a card with you all. For my card today, I am using some fun birthday supplies from Taylored Expressions .  I started my card by stamping the Taylored Expressions Gifted Background Stamp with VersaFine Clair Black Ink . I stamped my background twice, once for the back panel and once for the front. I then heat set my stamping with Clear Embossing Powder . Next, I used one of my stamped panels and attached the Gifted Stencil to the panel with Purple Tape  to hold it in place. I then added Distress Oxide Ink  in a variety of colors to my panel. Next, I used the second panel I had stamped and ran it through my die cutting machine with the Gifted Cutting Plate . The cutting plate lines up perfectly with the stenciled background, so I then just attached the two panel together. To clean up the edges and to finish my card panel I ran it through my die cutting machine with Waffle Flower ...

Craftiness Is Happiness

Hi Friends and Happy Saturday!! It is Dana here today and I am excited to be back sharing a project with you all. For my card today, I am combining a new stamp set from Reverse Confetti along with an older, but favorite die of mine. I started my card by making my card panel. I used the Reverse Confetti On The Curve Cover Panel and die cut it from a variety of colors. I then inlaid all of the pieces back into the negative spaces on the die in rainbow order...I love a rainbow background! Next, I stamped the images from the Reverse Confetti Crafty Critters Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers . I then used the Crafty Critters Die Set to die cut the images. Isn't that zebra just the cutest? To finish my card, I die cut a vellum circle with the MFT Die-namics Stitched Circle die . Lastly, I attached my images and sentiment with foam adhesive to my card front. I can't wait to get this card in the mail to a crafty friend! T...

You have a PIZZA my heart!

Hi Everyone! This is my last Valentine's Day card to share here on the blog. Valentine's Day holds a special place in my heart, because my youngest daughter was born on V-Day and she had to spend 6 weeks in the NICU fighting bacterial meningitis before we brought her home. She'll be 6 years old this week and it's a total miracle that she's alive, that she isn't severely handicapped, and that she is happy and healthy. The doctors expected her to die and they also prepared us for severe handicaps if she lived, but the only issue she has is a slight short-term memory problem, which thankfully hasn't affected her ability to learn like a little genius. Oh, how I love her! I was never a big Valentine's Day fan before, but since she was born, I LOVE IT!  This card represents my idea of a perfect V-Day with my sweetie. Chilling out at home with pizza and a movie is all I'm interested in on a holiday when everyone goes out to dinner :) You know what I ...
