"Love, Home, Family" Scrapbook Layout ///Pink Paislee Auburn Lane Collection

Hi, crafty friends.... Heather here to share a scrapbook layout with you...I had a great time making this and hope you like it too!   The picture is of myself, husband, and daughter and I love the Pink Paislee Auburn Lane collection with it!  I started with a piece of white cardstock and really wanted to play with my new Shimmerz Paints because they match this collection so well.  I used the paints on the background and the cut file title cut file I cut on my Silhouette.     I matted my photo on a couple patterned papers from the 6 x 8 paper pad and popped it up on some adhesive foam.     To add texture, I machine stitched my title and the circle cut file to the background.       To embellish my layout, I used the cute little puffy stickers , rub ons , and stickers from the 6 x 8 sheet of accent stickers .  To back the embellishment clusters, I used a couple of p...

"Dancing with the Stars " Mini-Album // Paige Evans collection & cut file

Hi,  crafty friends! Heather here and I have a mini album to share with you....I used a Paige Evans mini album cut file with a collection of products from Pink Paislee Paige Evans.  I created the album for pictures taken at a Dancing With The Stars Live show earlier this year. It was super fun and had too many pictures for just a scrapbook layout! Using the cut file made it easy to create the album and Paige Evans provides a helpful tutorial on her YouTube page.        To embellish the front, I used a combination of Pick Me Up ephemera and alpha stickers from my stash.  The flair is from an etsy shop called Cuts2Luv and she has beautiful flair pieces. To enclose the album, I glued a piece of twine around it and also adhered tiny velcro circles from my stash.      To make the base of the album and tags, I used Pink Paislee Take Me Away 6 x6 paper pad and the Pink Paislee Pick Me up 6 x6 paper pad  ....

"Me & You" scrapbook layout // Doodlebug Designs Hello Collection

Hi crafty friends! I hope you are having a great week and had time to play with some paper today!  Heather here to share another project with you using the Hello collection from Doodlebug Designs.   After three layouts, I have so much product left for probably another few layouts!  This layout is of my daughter and husband out on a "daddy-daughter date"...so sweet! This layout came together so much quicker than normal , but it was easy when I had all of these adorable speech bubbles from the Hello Collection chit chat package.  I couldn't narrow down the ones I wanted to use because they all had such cute messages...so I add them all! I started with a 12 x 12 piece of black cardstock and started laying down the speech bubbles I wanted to use.. .spacing them out like a puzzle.  I have been reaching for a lot of black cardstock lately because I love the way the bright colors look against the dark background...Once I had them placed ...

July Mood Board

Hello there! And happy summer! I have to say, I am pretty excited about this month's mood board! Even though I look over previous mood boards and see a variety over color combinations I start to feel like I am using the same colors over and over. And I feel like I use pink a lot. This month is a fun, summery, vibrant mood board that just makes me happy! Neon Yellow, Aquamarine, Teal & Chartreuse Image Source: Pinterest I seriously love these colors and my layout photos are not really doing it justice. My colors are a little off on my photos and it's driving me crazy. The yellow watercolor is definitely closer to neon in person and is it just me or are these pictures looking gray? Ah the joys of blogger! I have so many wonderful embellishments in my stash that I decided not to even use paper on this layout other than my background. Speaking of which, I finally broke in to my Gansai watercolors and O.M.G. it's LOVE! The Fancy Free collection matched so wel...

March Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board! I am not much of a pastel fan and because of that these boards I put together tend to be bold and rich colors. I think the early spring blooms and sunshine has me feeling quite the opposite right now! Pale Cyan, Soft Pink, Jasmine, Robin Egg Blue  And here's the layout it inspired! Have you ever scraplifted yourself!? That's actually what I did here from this layout . I occasionally do some digital scrapbooking and when I do I always find myself loving the designs and wanting to duplicate it with paper. Especially when it involves triangles.  I cut a bunch of triangles in various papers and figured out placement. Before gluing them down I moved them aside and added a bit of mist to my background. Most of this was going to be covered up but I still wanted to have that little something extra. After replacing the triangles I used my white embossing paste with one of my (many) triangle ...
