Feline Spooky with Paperie Ink

Hi crafty friends! Today I have a spooky cute card featuring Paperie Ink stamps! Their stamps are super adorable and I'm so excited that BRI carries them (click  HERE  to shop)! I love the little mice in the pumpkins! And the little toilet paper mummy cat cracks me up! I made this card for my crafty friend Peggy (follow her on  IG @peggyemmerink ) and it was so fun to make! For the background, I masked off the moon and ink blended the night sky. Then I used the Honey Bee stencil to add the moon craters, tree, bats, and fence. To make the grass, I ink blended white cardstock with pine needles and black soot Distress Oxides. Finally, I used Distress Micro Glaze to finish and seal the background. Supplies used: Paperie Ink Happy Haunting Honey Bee Trick or Treat stencils Sunny Studio Picket Fence die  (for the grass) Distress Oxides:  tumbled glass ,  blueprint sketch ,  chipped sapphire ,  black soot ,  pumice stone ,  pine need...

My Flamazing Friend

Hello and happy new year! Samantha here, and today I'm happy to share a card inspired by the brand new, gorgeous Butterfly Reflections Ink mood board ! I hope you love it as much as I do, and if so, play along! All of the details can be found by clicking here ! I love the colors, and wintery, nostalgic feeling of it! Which is super ironic...given that my card isn't nostalgic...or wintery! ha! I do still love it though!I used the cute, adorable images from Paperie Inks Fla La La Mingo stamp set ! Love those cute little mingos! Lol! I colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and fussy cut them out! I used Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire , Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon to ink blend onto some white cardstock. Then I used the Newton's Nook Tropical Leaves Stencil and the same colors (but with more pressure!) to add the subtle, tone on tone stencil effect! Once the background was ready, I used some gold Perfect Pearls and water to add the gold splatte...

Merry Christmas Card by Audrey Tokach

Hello friends!  Happy Christmas Eve to those who celebrate!  Audrey here with another project to share as guest designer for the month of December!  I have a card to share using stamps from another favorite company of mine, Paperie Ink!  To create my card, I started off by stenciling the Watercolor Wash Square Stencil from My Favorite Things onto a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of white cardstock using Distress Oxide inks in Shabby Shutters , Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo.  I stamped images from several Paperie Ink stamp sets , including Santa Baby , Like Christmas , and My Pawliday , and colored them with my Copic markers.  Then, I fussy cut them with my scissors, and arranged my little scene, adhering some elements flat with a glue pen and popping some up for dimension.  Under the scene, I added a strip of striped patterned paper, and a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Offset Sayings Christmas stamp set .  To finish off my card, I added a scattering of Lawn...

Tis the Ski-son Card

Hi there! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a card that was inspired by the gorgeous winter-y Mood Board for December ! **swoon** such beautiful colors!F For my card I used a combination of Paperie Ink Stamp Sets ! I stamped the images from Snow Good and Ski On and then colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! Once everything was dry, I fussy cut the images out! I used the Stitched Mountain Borders from Lawn Fawn to create the background. I kept the dies all in white, and then placed them on top of a Fog Cardstock card base! I haaaaaad to add some sparkle, so I used the Chunky Glitter from Lawn Fawn and LOVE how that looks on the mountain tops! I also die cut out the banner with vellum , and used some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and very lightly added color to the back of the banner! LOVE that ice blue! I heat embossed the sentiment and it was complete! Hope the card made you smile! ~ Samantha

December Mood Board with Paperie Ink

Hello crafty friends! It's already the middle of December and Christmas is just 12 days away! Today I have a holiday card inspired by the December mood board featuring Paperie Ink stamps. This month's mood board is fabulous and the colors are right up my alley. I created this tri-fold scene card with two Paperie Ink sets, Build a Tree and Like Christmas .  I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. For the background, I first ink blended a night sky with Distress oxides ( tumbled glass , chipped sapphire , black soot ). Next I used the Honey Bee Stamps Layering Birch Trees Stencils with Distress Oxides ( weathered wood , picket fence ) to add my forest.  I had a happy little accident with those trees-- I thought my first layer of ink was dry before adding the picket fence ink. I noticed the white was not showing up so I added white embossing powder . Guess what wasn't dry yet... yup, my first layer of trees. Powder everywhere. I started t...

Cutest Penguins Mega Flipper Card

Hello there crafty friends! I love penguins and oh my-lanta, this Kebin the Penguin stamp set by Paperie Ink is just the cutest! Just look at his squishy face! I just had to feature him in this interactive card. I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers (listed below) and fussy cut them out. For the penguin with the hat, I added flocking with the quickie glue pen . Have you used flocking before? You should definitely try it! It makes things fuzzy! I want to flock all the things now. Next, I cut out the panels and interactive mechanism using Mama Elephant's Mega Flipper dies . (Don't be fooled by this interactive card-- it is super easy to make and lots of fun to receive! How to video here at 13:02) To create the background, I used the emboss resist technique with clear embossing powder and Distress Inks (peacock feathers, salvaged patina , tumbled glass). I stamped the snow image from Lawn Fawn's Window Scene: Winter and heat embossed it before ink blending. ...

I also added some details to the images with a white gel pen . Hot Diggity Dog Shaker Card

Hellooo crafty friends! It's another Monday in October and I have another Halloween card for you! Here was my creative thought process with this card: I wanted to create a very traditional orange-and-black Halloween card. I also wanted to make a full panel shaker card. I absolutely love the hot dog dachshund from Paperie Ink's Happy Haunting set . I loooove puns. TA-DA! And this is what I came up with! First, I stamped and colored the adorable hot dog doggie with Copic markers (dog E13, E15, E18; hot dog costume E30, E31, E34, R24, Y17) and fussy cut the image. For the background, I used the emboss resist technique by stamping my images and heat embossing clear embossing powder . Then I ink blended Distress inks (mustard seed, spiced marmalade, carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon, black soot) and then wiped any excess ink off the images. (You can do the same technique with Distress Oxide inks .) To create the full panel shaker, I cut a piece of plastic (recycled packaging from a s...

I Shell Always Love You Card

Hi there! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a card using the adorable turtles from Paperie Ink ! This stamp set, Water You Up To , is just the cutest! Especially that upside-down turtle! LOL Ha - so cute! I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! I used various shades of greens and teals to color the tiny turtles, so they weren't all the same shades. For the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Salvaged Patina , Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch . First, I ink blended them on one corner, then I added the same colors with watercolor over the ink blended area. And once that was all dry, I used the Vicki Boutin Stencil to add the super cool waves with the same colors and more ink blending! Lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment, and finished off the card with those super amazing bubbles with a mix of 6mm and 4mm Clear Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh . Be sure to gab all your favorite products from the Butterfly R...

Hello Friend card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm back on the blog with a cute card using paperie ink stamps . Let me tell you what products I used and how I made it.  Are you tired of me using my favorite blue and green again?! I'm not! First I stamped the images from somebunny talk stamp set . These bunnies are the cutest with their little can phones. I colored them with my copic sketch markers  and cut them with my cutter bee scissors . Next I cut the foursquare backdrop from white cardstock and colored it with distress oxide ( salvaged patina and cracked pistachio ). I always have crafting phases where I use a lot of cardstock for a month and then the next month I use lots of distress oxides. I'm in my distress oxide phase at the moment as you may have noticed. The grass I cut with the grassy border from lawn fawn. Next I die cut the word friend with Olivers stitched Abcs from ballet slippers cardstock and glittered it with quickie glue pen and prisma glitter .  Next I adhered every...

Oh Hoppy Day with Aug BRI Moodboard

Hello crafty friends! Davina here on the blog with some BRI Moodboard color inspiration. The cool toned August colors are super dreamy consisting of pistachio, sky, magenta, and eggplant. At first I felt a little hesitant until I realized that that these are colors I use on their own all the time. I have a pile of super adorable  Paperie Ink Stamps  that are unused so I flipped through looking for something that I would color light green and the cute froggies from  Oh Hoppy Day  caught my eye.  I stamped several of the super cute frogs, lotus flowers, and lily pads onto my Neenah solar bright cardstock, and got to work. I colored the images with copic markers, using colors from the Moodboard, then I carefully fussy cut out each image. Once they were cut out I added my white dot highlights.  Next I used the new Lawn Fawn  Simple Stripe Portrait die  to cut a piece of white and black cardstock. I assembled the alternating colors onto a trimmed A2 pa...
