Birthday Dragon Slider Card

Hi crafty friends! It's Jenn and I am so excited and grateful to be back again designing for Butterfly Reflections Ink this term! Shameless plug for the store and Vanessa: I love how BRI carries SO. I love it when a new product is super versatile and can go with many of my already loved sets like the Mama Elephant In the Clouds cover die that was released back in May. Magical Dragon and Northern Lights Card

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited that it's Thanksgiving week (here in the USA) because there is much to be thankful for despite these crazy times. One thing I am thankful for is the crafting community and how encouraging everyone is 😊 Y'all rock!  Today I'm sharing this card featuring the Mama Elephant Me and My Dragon set . I've seen other cardmakers create northern lights backgrounds and wanted to give it a try because I thought that would make a great background for the cute dragon. Let's just say that I am thankful that I was attempting these northern lights on paper and not tattooing someone because my attempts looked like a hot mess. Fortunately I could just throw away the paper, haha! I still need to practice more and will definitely be attempting this again.  I used Distress oxides ( twisted citron , salvaged patina , seedless preserves ) and small, thin blending brushes to create the light ribbons.
