Halloween Wishes boxcard with Davina

Hello crafty friends! I thought I’d pop in here with a cute Halloween Boxcard using the latest Pretty Pink Posh release. It’s so fun and easy to create a full boxcard using the MFT stamps Outside the Box Level Up die sets. I love to stamps tons of images and put them all in and around the cute box cards.  For this Spooky treat I cut and assembled the box from thick sturdy black cardstock, and cut some grass and hill inserts from scraps strips of patterned and glitter paper that I had on my desk. I cut the stitched background arch from some bristol smooth cardstock, then used the  Layered Candy Corn Stencil  from Pretty Pink Posh with  Carved Pumpkin ,  Kitsch Flamingo , and  Antique Linen  distress oxides. I distressed the edge of the cut out and splattered black ink onto the panel. Next, I added a PPP ...

It’s Okay Not to Be Ok

Hello Crafty folks. It’s Marie with a card using the new stamp set and Grid Planter Die from Mama Elephant’s newest April 2022 Release . This stamp set, with its adorable melancholy critters and encouraging sentiments allows you to create sweet and empathetic cards to show your support for the people in your life that are maybe going through some tough times. I know I can absolutely relate to this set so much right now.  For my card today, I created a bookcase scene using the new  Grid Planter Die  and  "It's Okay" Stamp Set   as well as its  creative cuts (coordinating dies).   I started my card by cutting the card base using  A2 Layers Dies  from a sturdy 110lb cardstock as well as  pattern paper    From my favorite things. I then cut my bookcase from the  grid planter die   and ink blended it with  Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink  from My Favorite Things.  I did some no line watercoloring wi...

👋 Hello From a Housecat 🐈

☺️Hey Crafty Friend! It’s Marie , a.k.a @marneymakesart back again to share a simple happy spring time hello card featuring a bunch of my favorite products from my favorite companies!  To create my card, I first start off by die cutting my card base from 110 cardstock using the A2 sized   Large stitch Rectangle Stackables Lawn Cuts Dies . I also cut my  Pattern Paper from My Favorite Things  using the same A2 sized stitched rectangle die. I then used a rounded rectangle die from the  Slim Card Basics Creative Cuts  dies from Mama Elephant to cut out my center opening on my pattern Paper. On my white card base, I inked my background using  Distress Oxide Ink in Salvage Patina. Now for the fun part! I used 3 different stamp sets from My Favorite Things to create my scene. The adorable cat image is from the  Housecats Stamp Set . All the floral images is from the  Spring Gnomes Stampset . Lastly, the adorable little bees 🐝 are from the  " ...

🧜🏼‍♀️MerMazing MerMail 💌

Hey Guys! It’s Marie again! Happy Friday! I am super stoked to be back on the blog today To share a mermaid themed card inspired by the beautiful colors of this Month’s  Butterfly Reflections Ink Mood Board Challenge  .  Today, I am featuring one of my all time favorite mermaid Stamp sets from Waffle Flower Crafts entitled  "Mermaid Mail"  as well the Beautiful  Slimline Series: Foliage Frame Dies  By Trinity Stamps. It was my first time ever creating with this slimline frame die and I am so in love with the results!  First thing I did to create my card was to color in all my images with watercolor and the newest Distress ink color in  Saltwater Taffy  all  on watercolor paper then die cut them using its  matching die set . I then cut out my foliage frame using dark teal cardstock paper. Using distress ink  "Chipped Sapphire"  and MFTStamps Ink In  "Beyond Blue"  , I inked the edges of my frame.  To cre...

Have I told you lately...

Happiest Thursday, crafters!!  Heather here with you today and I'm sharing a card that I recently created for my husband!  March 24th was our 21st (wedding) anniversary and, I thought, that required an extra special card! To create this one-of-a-kind interactive card I used Lawn Fawn's *NEW* Platform Pop-Up Lawn Cuts die set!!  So much fun!!  It seems that this die set would be super complicated to use - BUT IT'S NOT!!  The tutorial over on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel is SO helpful!  I can't wait to also pick up the special Pop-Up Add-On  Lawn Cuts from the Butterfly Reflections Ink Shop.  It's looks like such a fun way to add elements to this fun pop-up card!  Here is a sneak peek of my card: First things first: I have to confess that I've been hoarding the Pink Paislee/America Crafts "Lucky Us" 6x8 paper pad for the LONGEST TIME!!!!  I just love the fun patterns so much and they're really perfect for a lovey-dovey anniver...

Scent with Love BRI Moodboard inspiration

Hello crafty friends! Davina here, with some January BRI Moodboard color inspiration. Today I’m sharing a shaker card that combines several newer, and older, sets by Lawn Fawn. I’ve been making many more shaker cards than I ever have before, and each has been a different kind/style. I really love the flat mesh ones that I’ve shared, but today, I kept it classic. The colors in this months Moodboard are spun sugar, mauve, butterscotch, and marine blue. I incorporated these colors by creating a skunk filled scene with lots of Valentine’s Day images. I started by making my snow globe shaker. The new dies are huge, so I dig deep into my stash, and found my  Ready Set Snow  stamps and dies from years ago. It was the perfect size for a little mail man skunk and some goodies. I stamped out images from  Scent with Love  ,  Scent with Love Add on  and last years  Special Delivery sets, then colored everything up before die cutting with the coordinating dies....

Peace on Earth with the BRI Moodboard

Hello crafty friends. Davina here with some November BRI Moodboard color inspiration. I really wanted to create a Christmas card using these bold fall colors, and with the help of the recent Reverse Confetti release, I’m excited to share my project.  I didn’t hesitate to purchase the new  Adore Him  stamps and die set when it became available. I love the illustrations and the simplicity of the images. It’s very rare that I create a card using only one stamp set and this is one of those times.  I looked though my stash of R.C. Cover panels and was excited to find the oldie but goodie  Sunburst Cover Panel  confetti cut. I thought the rays would be a perfect background for an inky background. I inked up a muted ocean blue piece of cardstock with  Speckled Egg  and  Iced Spruce  distress oxide ink then splattered with gold and white ink. I layered a crisp white sunburst panel over the top of my inky background.  Next, I stamped my imag...
