Summer card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! I'm back on the blog with a summer card. The weather in the Netherlands is rainy and not very warm so I needed a little bit of sunshine. Let me show you how I made this card and what I used.  I used the don't worry be happy stamp set from paperie ink. I immediately fell in love with these cute critters in there swimming rings so had to have this set. First I stamped all the images and colored them with my copic markers . Next I cut them with my cutter bee scissors . This is my favorite scissors for fussy cutting. I really love fussy cutting I think it's really relaxing to do.  Next I die cut the peekaboo backdrop , I cut the background and the water from the watercolor wishes rainbow paper pad . This is such a versatile paper pad I really like to use it for my cards. Happy summer card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm back on the blog with a summer themed card with some cute flamingos. They're my favorite animal since I was little so love everything with flamingos. Let me tell you how I made this card. For this card I used the sunburst backdrop  that I cut from some white cardstock  and ink blend it with distress oxide. I used squeezed lemonade for the inside and for the outside kitch flamingo . These colors are my favorites for summer backgrounds. Next I cut the magic iris tropical leaves add on  from white cardstock and ink blended it with lucky clover . I'm not a fan of the magic iris itself because I can't make it work, but I love this add on to use on a card.  Next I stamped two flamingo's, some leaves and flowers from the fabulous flamingo stampset from sunny studio and colored them with copic makers .
