It’s Okay Not to Be Ok

Hello Crafty folks. It’s Marie with a card using the new stamp set and Grid Planter Die from Mama Elephant’s newest April 2022 Release . This stamp set, with its adorable melancholy critters and encouraging sentiments allows you to create sweet and empathetic cards to show your support for the people in your life that are maybe going through some tough times. I know I can absolutely relate to this set so much right now.  For my card today, I created a bookcase scene using the new  Grid Planter Die  and  "It's Okay" Stamp Set   as well as its  creative cuts (coordinating dies).   I started my card by cutting the card base using  A2 Layers Dies  from a sturdy 110lb cardstock as well as  pattern paper    From my favorite things. I then cut my bookcase from the  grid planter die   and ink blended it with  Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink  from My Favorite Things.  I did some no line watercoloring wi...

Hello crafty friends, Tina here with a sweet road trip card! Aren’t these penguins from the Sunny Studio Passionate Penguins the cutest ever? I love that this set gives you so many adorable images, so the possibilities are endless! Today we are creating a mini slimline card with a mountain scene in the background. To start I stamped the sweet car image onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock. I die cut the slimline first and then used a small dome die to cut into this panel. I stamped the mountain scene from Sunny Studio Country Scenes to this dome shape. Next, I drew a road for the car to drive on. All the coloring was done with Copic markers Copics used Car        BG11, BG13, BG34, Y11, T3, T5 Penguins    T5, T7, C9 Scene        T1, T3, V000, V12, BG13, BG11, E41, E42, E43, C1, C3, C5 To match the scene, I inked up the slimline panel with Spun Sugar distress oxides ink . Shaker Bookmark

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope you're having a great day so far. It's Cassie from Creatively Cass, and I'm here to share a fun bookmark project I made this week. Let's get to it!  I started this shaker by stamping my images. I just love the cuties in the Rain or Shine stamp set by Avery Elle . I stamped it with some Copic friendly black ink and colored the in with my Copic markers. I don't have the dies for this, so I fussy cut them out with some detail scissors. Next comes making the shaker!  I die cut two of the medium size of circle frame dies like this one and cut some acetate to fit between my shaker sandwich. I used a mixture of blue sequins and adhered my shaker together. I adhered the images to the shaker and started working on my sentiment and finishing touches.  I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Sunny Vibes stamp set by MFT Stamps on some blue cardstock. That was adhered to the shaker as well. A little hole reimbursement die wa...

Merry Christmas Card by Audrey Tokach

Hello friends!  Happy Christmas Eve to those who celebrate!  Audrey here with another project to share as guest designer for the month of December!  I have a card to share using stamps from another favorite company of mine, Paperie Ink!  To create my card, I started off by stenciling the Watercolor Wash Square Stencil from My Favorite Things onto a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of white cardstock using Distress Oxide inks in Shabby Shutters , Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo.  I stamped images from several Paperie Ink stamp sets , including Santa Baby , Like Christmas , and My Pawliday , and colored them with my Copic markers.  Then, I fussy cut them with my scissors, and arranged my little scene, adhering some elements flat with a glue pen and popping some up for dimension.  Under the scene, I added a strip of striped patterned paper, and a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Offset Sayings Christmas stamp set .  To finish off my card, I added a scattering of Lawn...

Fall Friendship Card b y Sara Zoppi

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am back with a new card, inspired by the September BRI Mood Board Challenge . This color palette is incredible and it is perfect for fall cards. I love the warm tones, I love all of them together! And this is my inspiration! I’ve recently bought some Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies and this was the perfect occasion to use them. I look in my stash and I found this Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set : I instantly thought to use the palette to color all the pumpkins. I stamped all of the images on a piece of copic friendly paper using Memento TuxedoBlack ink . The little fox belongs to the Winter Woodland stamp set while the greenery is from the AutumnWreath one . I colored everything with copic and at the end I fussy cut all of them since I hadn’t coordinating dies. I then started working on the background. On a piece of watercolor paper , I ink blended Distress Oxides in W...

MFT Stamps - Little Buddies

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a fun card featuring some old and some new dies and stamps from My Favorite Things! I simply adore the way this card turned out especially because it reminds me of my son Noah and our kitty Molly. I started off using one of the images from the stamp set Little Buddies and stamped directly onto my cardstock.  I then stamped the same image, this time on some Gina K Masking Magic paper and fussy cut around the image.  This is because I wanted the little boy to appear to be sitting on the grass with the hills and trees behind him.  Once I applied my masked image,  I used the new Scene Builder and stamped my grass with flowers and the hills with trees.  Once all my images were stamped I removed the masking paper to reveal the adorable scene.  I always love seeing the whole image once everything is stamped!  It's such a fun technique and can be used with any stamps you may have! ...

Happy Tuesday everyone! Danielle here up on the BRI blog today with a fun interactive card featuring the new My Favorite Things Best In Show stamp set.  This was super fun to make and such a cute stamp set! I started off with my main panel and using the new My Favorite Things Ray of Light Stencil and Distress Ink Oxides in Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade .  I then used the MFT Stitched Cloud Edges die and ran through my die cutting machine with glitter cardstock to create some clouds.  For my grass I used the MFT Die-Namics Grassy Fields die with some green cardstock.  I stamped one of the cute sentiments that comes with this set on the bottom of my grassy panel. I adhered my grass directly to my stenciled panel using permanent adhesive tape.  I adhered my clouds using foam adhesive for some dimension.  I then had the idea of having the dog "run" through the tunnel.  What is great about this stamp set and coordinating dies that the par...

Good Morning crafty friends! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a fun Valentine's Day card for you best crafty girl friend featuring the My Favorite Things recent February release! I was so excited to see this month's mood board for February because I just adored the soft colors.  I wanted to create a Valentine's Day card for a friend in non traditional Valentine's Day colors.  I started off ink blending my panel using Distress Oxides in Scattered Straw , Milled Lavender , and Weathered Wood.  Once I was done ink blending, I used the My Favorite Things Lots of Hearts Stencil and applied Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the stencil onto my ink blended panel.  To say that I am obsessed with this glimmer paste is an understatement! It creates such beautiful shimmer over any color it is applied to! It is a must have!!  Once dried, I used the My Favorite Things Die-Namics Heart Trio Shaker Window die and ran it through my die cutting machine twice...
