Oh Joy!

Hi crafty friends! Sophie here and today I'm sharing this sparkly holiday shaker card featuring some products from Mama Elephant! :)  I used the new Flurry Frame die cut out of white cardstock as the focal point for this card. I cut it out about 5 times and stacked them for a substantial, chipboard-like look on the finished project. It makes a huge difference in person!  For the background I used a piece of paper from the Lawn Fawn Let it Shine petite paper pack and ink blended the top with navy ink. I love ink blending on patterned paper!  For the sentiment I used an older Mama Elephant Oh Joy die set and cut the shadow from Lawn Fawn Pearlescent Vellum and then the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Silver Metallic paper . I added a small sentiment from Mama Elephant Holiday Messages on a piece of navy cardstock for some extra holiday cheer :)  For the shaker portion I used Lawn Fawn acetate for the window and filled it with a combination of Lawn Fawn Prisma and Chunky...

May All Your Dreams Come True!

Hi everyone, Ashley here and I'm so happy to be back at the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog! Today I'm sharing a slimline card that I created using a whole bunch of Lawn Fawn stamp sets. A bit of backstory: just about one year ago, my husband and I went on a mini-honeymoon to Disney World immediately after our wedding. I am a huge Disney fan, and my husband had never properly been to the parks. It was the most magical vacation and we had the best time ever. We had been hoping to go back this year but, like so many others, our travel plans got shelved due to the pandemic. I've been trying to re-make the magic at home as much as I can to ease the pain of missing out on the trip - I even tried to make some classic Disney World treat recipes at home - and, in this card, I tried to create some of my favorite parts of the Magic Kingdom. I made this a slimline card so that I would have more space to accommodate all the images I wanted to include. I am still (somewhat) pat...

Wheee! Have an upllifting day!!!

Hello Friends Waleska from craftinglovew here super happy to be sharing again with you here at the blog!   For my card today I wanted to make a fun and encouraging card!  I hope you like it! CARD DETAILS: To create this card I started with the background.  I first ink blend a white card base with Oxide Ink Stormy Sky and a Blending Buddy Brush .  I then with a Cloud Stencil and a White Pigment Ink I stenciled the sky.  To give dimention to the clouds I used Ranger Texture Paste and while the paste was still wet I pour Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter.  for lots of sparkle!!! I then diecut the grass with the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border  I colored it also with Oxide Inks in colors  Twisted Citron  and Mowed Lawn   I  also added some water splashes. I colored two of  foxes, a ballon and some butterflies of the Lawn Fawn sets Butterfly Kisses and Really High Five  with copic markers and adhere th...

Rainbows, Unicorns and Sparkle!

Hi everyone! It's Ashley and I'm so excited to be back on the blog. Today, I'm showcasing a card I made using one of Lawn Fawn's older, mini stamp sets - A Little Sparkle . I like mini stamp sets because they're usually much cheaper than a regularly-sized stamp set, but sometimes I struggle making a whole card with just the one or two images that come in a mini set. I employed a few tricks to make it work better on this card - I repeated some of the smaller images, broke up the sentiment so it took more space, added big die cuts to fill in the scene, and used a pop of rainbow colour to act as a focal point. I'd definitely recommend trying some of these tricks if you also struggle creating cards with mini stamp sets! I stamped all of the images using Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink , and coloured them in with Copic markers. I die-cut two pieces of white sparkle cardstock with Lawn Fawn's Puffy Cloud Border dies , and placed one each on the top and bo...
