Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hi Everyone! Jenny here with my last post of my official Butterfly Reflections Ink DT term .  To end with a 'boom', I'm using the Butterfly Reflections Ink/Bossy Joscie collaboration stamp sets #Hashtag and #Hashtag Bossy .  These sets are so funny and feature a great array of #hashtags for almost any day of the week :) To start, I die cut a butterfly from a piece of Inkadinkado Stamping Masking Paper trimmed to 4.25" x 5.5".  This butterfly is an older one from my stash but these by Reverse Confetti would work perfectly. I then trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to the same size and overlayed the negative part of the masking paper so the bristol panel was fully covered.  Using Versafine Smokey Grey ink and an acrylic block , I stamped pretty much all of the individual tiny sentiments from both sets, both horizontally and vertically (both directions) all over the butterfly opening, making sure to overlap the edges. Hi! I am Sharna from Sharna Anne Designs . This is my first time as a Butterfly Inker so I thought I'd share a bit about myself. I was born in Lethbridge, Alberta but currently live in Chicago, IL. I have a degree in Photography but I work in life insurance; Haha! I'm married and have one child; a baby boy who is five months old named Gage. I couldn't be happier! On to the card! LawnFawn is always releasing mini sets & I own every.single.one! They are great versatile stamp sets and can be used for many occasions. I always love a good birthday shaker card so that's what I made here. A good tip is to use a powder tool (or just plain baby powder) around the edges of your foam tape. This keeps the sequins from sticking. (see them move in the video below) The whale is colored with copic markers in cool grey shades C1 & C5, sea weed is colored with YG11 & YG6. The background is done by blending distress inks in Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon & Peacock...

Hi Everyone!  I have always professed my love for acrylic albums.  They are great for brag books to be displayed.  They also give a light and airy feel that is perfect for a little girl's album.  Vanessa sent me this adorable butterfly mini album .  I printed 2x2 and 3x3 photos to put in this album and used frames from The Pier and Maggie Holmes .  I embellished it using papers from Basic Grey , flair from Crate Paper, and buttons from Dear Lizzy .  I kept it really simply so the cute pictures would be the star!     Hope you enjoyed! --Nicole
