Hello there crafty friends! I love penguins and oh my-lanta, this Kebin the Penguin stamp set by Paperie Ink is just the cutest! Just look at his squishy face! I just had to feature him in this interactive card. I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers (listed below) and fussy cut them out. For the penguin with the hat, I added flocking with the quickie glue pen . Have you used flocking before? You should definitely try it! It makes things fuzzy! I want to flock all the things now. Next, I cut out the panels and interactive mechanism using Mama Elephant's Mega Flipper dies . (Don't be fooled by this interactive card-- it is super easy to make and lots of fun to receive! How to video here at 13:02) To create the background, I used the emboss resist technique with clear embossing powder and Distress Inks (peacock feathers, salvaged patina , tumbled glass).
