Today's card features the stamp set Halloween Party by Hello Bluebird  colored with copic markers. I then splattered the background with some pearl watercolor. The Sentiment and grass are made with Black Licorice cardstock from Lawn Fawn.

Hello, Sharna here with some new cards for you! As soon as I saw the new Lawn Fawn release I knew I needed to get the Plane and Simple stamps and dies , so adorable! My son has a slight obsession with planes right now (he is 2 and a 1/2) For the cards I combined the Puffy Cloud border die  with some heavy weight card stock for the border and background. The background on the second card is die cut with the Starry Skies Lawn cuts. The planes for both cards are colored with a few copics. I really like the pop of red against all the blues! I kept the sentiment on both cards simple so they can be used for many different occasions. Everyone needs some cards in their stash they can customize easily for those last minute gifts. (ha!)

Lift Me Up - Sharna W.

Hi hi! Sharna here again! This time I have a card mixing Lawn Fawn & Wplus9 because they are two of my favorite companies. The sweet giraffe & balloon are from the new Party Animal stamp set. I colored these using a mix of copics & prismacolor markers. I really do like both. I have way more colors of copics but I blend better with prismacolors. The background is the new puffy cloud boarder dies from Lawn Fawn & the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables Lawn Cuts. Sweet Tidings - Sharna W.

Hello it's Sharna ! I have two cards for you today. I already shared one on instagram but I thought I would share again with some more details!   This first card is the new one. I've had this stamp set from Lawn Fawn for a while now and I just never used it. No idea why! Don't know how many of you are playing along with the 30 day color challenge but if you aren't you should give it a try! I find I can give many stamps that have been collecting dust a chance for some action. Today both my cards came from playing with coloring. This card was an experiment with distress ink coloring. I got a new water brush so of course I had to take it for a spin. The background is made with some simple heat embossing of the hearts in this set and some ink smooshing. That' s basically taking your ink, putting it on a block, spraying it and smooshing it to your paper. Its a lot of fun and super easy! I used Picked Raspberries for the background and the milk carton. The cookies ...

Wedding with Modern Blooms - Sharna W.

Hello, its Sharna ! I'm here with another shaker card. You guys know my obsession with shakers. I imagine one day I may get over it but until then! I was requested to make a wedding card and ended up with several but this is my favorite. I've been playing with the Modern Blooms stamps from MFT stamps. This is my first layering set so I had never done it before. It took lots of practice before I got it. My biggest mistake? Not making swatches of my inks. So now I have my inks in color families. This works better for me than by company; especially for this when you need lots of tones in one color. I also ended up going out and buying a bunch of more ink colors! Ha!! Also its a good idea to let your inks dry before moving onto the next layer. I kept everything else simple so my flowers would really stand out. I really love doing these with black accents. Anyone who follows me on Instagram will have seen the other two cards I made with this set which also had black accents.  ...

Little One - Sharna W.

Hello again, Sharna here with another new card. This time my very first Create A Smile card! I have loved them a long time and was finally able to grab a few of the sets I wanted now that we are the only US supplier! So of course I had to have the Narwhal stamps cause I mean come on! They are so cute! I am always in need of baby cards, its like as soon as I make one I use it. Ha! The background is some ink smooshing everyone's liking lately. I tend to smoosh mine all together though. I like the control I have. Anyways the colors I used were Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean &  Tumbled Glass. Also added a few old Lawn Fawn sequins to match. Supplies: Underwater Love stamp set - Create a Smile Mermaid Lagoon - Distress Ink Salty Ocean - Distress Ink Tumbled Glass - Distress Ink

You Gnome It! - Sharna W.

Hey again, Sharna here with another card! I just can't stop playing with these Gnomes from My Favorite Things. I really wanted to use green and purple together. So I started blending with some distress inks. Isn't that pistachio so pretty?! The mushrooms & gnome are colored with copics. Supplies: Pistachio - distress ink You Gnome Me stamp set - MFT

Sun Sunny Sunshine - Sharna W.

Hello it's Sharna with another card featuring some WPlus9 goodies!! Its another shaker, because I can't just stop with these. I saw a few other designers make the shakers around the edge of the design so I decided to give it a shot and I love how it came out. I use foam tape for all my projects and I pick it up all over the place in all different widths. I still usually end up cutting the strips in half and doubling up. I should just give in and buy the huge roll of it! The secret really is using some powder around the edges and if you don't have a powder tool just use some baby powder! Just make sure you wipe it off the transparency when you are done getting the edges. This will make sure your shaker shakes well. I used almost all the die cuts from the Sunshine Layers die and shaded all of them using distress inks in yellows & blues. I love how the sunshine came out! Up Up & Away! - Sharna W.

I saw this adorable stamp set come out from My Favorite Things and decided it would be a good set to practice coloring with copics. I tried many variations on hair & outfits before deciding I liked this one for a Mother's Day card. The inside of the card says Happy Mother's day. There is a good variety that this set will work for many occasions. I used the Wplus9 Sunshine layers to cut him out. I trimmed off the edges for a more masculine look to go with the stamp. Finally I layered some Lawn Fawn & Echo Park papers that went with the colors I chose. Supplies Used: Super Boy stamp set - MFT Sunshine Layers die - WPlus9 Anything Goes 6x6 paper - Echo Park

Can you dig it? - Sharna W.

Hey everyone! Its Sharna again with another fun & fabulous card using MFT stamps! I'm relatively new to using MFT but I simply adore their designs. As soon as I saw the sweet little gnomes from this set I knew I HAD to have it. David the Gnome was a favorite show of mine growing up. I used all sorts of copics to color and I am afraid I didn't write them all down at the time as this done during the scattering of minutes I have of free time during the day. So in no particular order - Y35, Y38, C1, C3, R35, R29, R32, G02, YG61, B02, B00, YR24 and E25. Hope that's all of them! The background is distress ink blending using the mini ink blending tool. I used cracked pistachio & Tea Dye inks. And lastly Lawn Fawn sequins and Lawn Fawn paper. Supplies: Beachside 6x6 paper pad You Gnome Me stamp set Cracked Pistachio distress ink

Rainbow Flutter - Sharna W.

Hello again, its Sharna from Sharna Anne Designs So I grabbed up the new WPlus9 release that came out. Along with the kitties I picked up " A New Day " set to water color with. Below is what happened, on accident haha! So I first embossed the stamp with some liquid platinum embossing powder by Wow. Its so gorgeous but its hard to photograph how soft and lovely the color is. I choose to leave off a sentiment so I can use it for any occasion. I used a whole bunch of colors of distress ink on this. The background is Cracked Pistachio  and Mermaid Lagoon and the rest of the colors are a blend of mini kit 1 . When I say this was an accident I mean it. I started to pain the bird in yellow and red and things mixed with the background colors and so I just went with it. I just love how it came out! Just proves the happy accident idea.
