Toadally Awesome Sliding Fun!

Hi everyone! It's Ashley again and I'm so happy to be back on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog! Today's card is built around Lawn Fawn's Toadally Awesome stamp set. This stamp set is from an older Lawn Fawn release, so there are already a bunch of amazing examples out there using this set for inspiration. I hadn't picked it up when it was originally released, but after seeing everyone else using it I was swayed! So now I feel like it's my turn to play with it - yay! I started by stamping out all of the cute images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink , and coloring them in with a variety of Copic markers. Most of the images are from the Toadally Awesome stamp set, but the fireflies are from Lawn Fawn's Little Fireflies stamp set. This is a super cute mini set that I plan on focusing on for an upcoming card! It was then time to build the background. I cut a piece of watercolour paper using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Pond dies, and then used Tim Holtz D...

Magic Color Slider - Lawn Fawn

Happy Tuesday fellow crafters! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a fun interactive card featuring Lawn Fawn's Magic Color Slider and their new Oh Gnome stamp set .  This was a fun card to make and I especially love the final reveal! I started off ink blending a panel using Distress Ink Oxides in Tumbled Glass , and Salty Ocean .  I then ran it through my die cutting machine using Lawn Fawn Stitched Cloud Backdrop: Portrait die .  I love this die because it easily creates a beautiful cloud background with a stitched edge.  Then using a piece of Cilantro cardstock , I ran the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die through my die cutting machine. I stamped my sentiment from the new Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Spring stamp set.  To create my flowers I used the Straight Flower Border die and ran through my machine 3 times.  Once on green cardstock and then once on Sticky Note and another on Sunflower Lawn Fawn Cardstock.  I adhered my flowers first dir...

LawnFawn Eggstra Amazing Easter

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Danielle here up on the BRI blog today with fun Easter card featuring Lawn Fawn Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set .  With Easter right around the corner, I figure it's not too early to start my cards for family and friends. I started off my card with a plain white card base.  I then trimmed down another piece of Lawn Fawn Peacock cardstock a little bit shorter for my second layer and adhered to my card base using tape adhesive . For my top layer, I used the new Lawn Fawn Spring Fling 6x6 paper pack and trimmed it shorter than my previous layer and adhered using foam adhesive..  I love that this paper pack comes with 12 different patterns and is perfect for spring.  For the die cut center, I used Lawn Fawn Reversed Stitched Scalloped Circle Window die . This created the cute scalloped center in my patterned panel.  I ran this die through my cutting machine again this time on a white piec...

Best In Show - MFT

Happy Tuesday everyone! Danielle here up on the BRI blog today with a fun interactive card featuring the new My Favorite Things Best In Show stamp set.  This was super fun to make and such a cute stamp set! I started off with my main panel and using the new My Favorite Things Ray of Light Stencil and Distress Ink Oxides in Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade .  I then used the MFT Stitched Cloud Edges die and ran through my die cutting machine with glitter cardstock to create some clouds.  For my grass I used the MFT Die-Namics Grassy Fields die with some green cardstock.  I stamped one of the cute sentiments that comes with this set on the bottom of my grassy panel. I adhered my grass directly to my stenciled panel using permanent adhesive tape.  I adhered my clouds using foam adhesive for some dimension.  I then had the idea of having the dog "run" through the tunnel.  What is great about this stamp set and coordinating dies that the par...

Lawn Fawn - I Love You(Calyptus)

Hello crafty friends and Happy New Year! I am so honored and excited to be joining the amazing Butterfly Reflections Ink Design Team with so many talented ladies!  Today I am sharing my first card using the latest Lawn Fawn's I Love You (Calyptus) stamp set and other amazing products from their latest release.  Once I saw this adorable Koala I couldn't wait to use it especially with Valentine's Day right around the corner! To start my card, I ink blended my panel on smooth Bristol paper using Distress Ink Oxides in Tattered Rose , Spun Sugar , and Picked Raspberry .  Once dried, I then used Lawn Fawn Polka Heart Backdrop Portrait and ran it through my die cutting machine.  I removed the little hearts and placed them aside while I glued my ink blended panel to my card base.  I decided to place the hearts back in but reversed the colors.  I thought this technique gave it more contrast and extra detail. For my hearts I us...

Stitched Cards

Hey everyone! Hope you're week is going great! It's Kelli again showing some stitched cards. My husband and I took a vacation to New Mexico and on the drive I decided to give these a try rather than sleep! I used the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch Die and colors of DMC embroidery floss I already had on hand. For the blue card, I used Lawn Fawn Mermaid cardstock and Honeybee Hello Die . The sentiment "You're Unforgettable" is from Hello Bluebird Elephant Friends Stamp Set .   For the pink card, I used pink glitter paper and the same Honeybee Hello Die. The sentiment "Sending Love" is from the Hello Bluebird Merry Greeters Stamp Set. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
