Hello BRI Fans!!! Happy Sunday!! Its me ...Piali, so happy to be back on the BRI blog!! Today I have few Valentine's cards to share with you all. As you all know by now I love to mix stamps from different companies for my projects. I used Avery Elle , My Favorite Things and Honey Bee Stamps for my cards. First up is a cute little Monster... I love this little guy from Avery Elle stamps! I created my background using the MFT- Distress Patterns stamp and several Distress inks. The sentiment is from Honey Bee - Beautiful life stamp set.  I also used some Doodlebug Designs Sprinkles and washi tapes. Next up is a sweet Whale... I used the same background technique with different shades of blue. The cute whale and sentiment are from Avery Elle-Whale Hello stamp set.  Fun and easy cards with a great mix of stamps and inks. Hello and happy weekend to everyone.  Chitra here today on the blog and I have couple of cards to share with you all. I played with the new Avery Elle's Viking stamp set .. First with the help of a x-acto knife I trimmed out the sentiment and then  stamped the Viking image using Memento black ink onto Crafters Companion ultra smooth white cardstock; then colored him using Copics . The design papers are from DCWV, I hand trimmed the hill and used foam adhesive to pop it up. The viking is also adhered using some foam adhesives . The sentiment is stamped onto a black cardstock using VersaMark ink and heat embossed using WOW white embossing powder ; I then rounded just three corners to make it look like a speech bubble; then adhered it using foam adhesives . Hello friends! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here! Today I was  inspired  to create a one-layer card. The focal point is a floral arrangement around a white circle with lots of white space. This is not my usual style so I was extremely uncomfortable with the white space LOL. However, I decide to embrace it and see what you would think. Here is a closer look at my card. Die cut a circle from masking paper using some circle die. Mask the center of a watercolor panel Stamp flower and leaf outline images around the circle with Altenew's Beautiful Day set . Mask individual flower or leaf when necessary Remove the circle mask, stamp some small flowers inside the circle Mask the whole circle with masking fluid. Let completely dry Watercolor the flowers and leaves with Gansai Tambi Watercolor Rub off the masking fluid. Stamp the sentiment with black pigment ink. All that snow is beautiful, but it sure causes a struggle! Janette here giving you a sneak peek of the card I made for my Valentine. I have been married to my one and only for 20 years. Even though we take comfort in being by each other's side, a gentle reminder of one's love is always of value. This card was simple, albeit a bit time consuming to make. I stamped the entire A2 sized card stock with the umbrella from the My Favorite Things All Heart stamp set . Originally, there are heart shaped rain drops attached to the umbrella, but I easily trimmed those off and set them aside. To achieve this dimensional effect, start with the umbrella you want in the front and stamp it first. Then, mask it and continue to stamp the rest from bottom to the top. Hello, hello! Lindsay here, and I am in love with these sweet sheep from the Ewe Are the Best stamp set from My Favorite Things! Do you like to color? Whether its markers , or watercolors, this stamp set is so fun to color! I started by stamping the hill image twice, as well as a couple of trees, onto a white card base. I then masked them both, and applied a layer of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for a bit of sky. I removed those masks, and colored in the hills, and trees using Copic Markers. I stamped the ram, and the ewe onto white card stock, and colored them as well, cutting them out, and popping them up onto my card. I finished it by stamping a few hearts in red ink, and adding my sentiment in Onyx Black Versamark ink. Do you like to color? If so, what is your medium of choice? Thanks for visiting today! Hey folks! I gotta be honest, after seeing all of the AH-mazing things my fellow Butterfly Ink-ers have done this last week, I feel like a total slacker with this card. For real though, all I could think when I saw this Stamp was she simply needed to be colored. Nothing fancy schmancy, end of discussion. Can I seriously just pick her up and hug her? I stamped  Bella and Daisy from Wild Rose Stamps on some Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock with My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink . Also, the Bella and Posy Stamp would also be so cute! My color palette was simple. I used Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Hickory Smoke , Worn Lipstick , Squeezed Lemonade , Mustard Seed and Ground Espresso . Last week, I showed where instead of building up color, I started with a lot and pulled up what I didn't want, this card is the opposite. I started light and built up color where I wanted it. The font of the "love" die is SO pretty! I created a watercolor brushstroke background using Peerless watercolor sheets.  I accented my card with gold glimmer paint (any brand will do, but I used Heidi Swapp) and a die-cut border using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax . Hello! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a fun layout I made! I started with a piece of 12x12 white cardstock and lots of goodies from the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop ! I started by mixing some paint with embossing paste in various shades of pinks and oranges. Then I used a palette knife and spread the mixture through a really fun triangle stencil ! Once that was dry, I used Distress Inks and some recycled packaging to add the watercolor look on top of the triangles! I only matted my photo on some various pieces of white cardstock and some tissue paper in white! So fun! I used some of those really fun triangle acetate shapes from Pinkfresh Studio to add some more yellows and pinks behind the photo and around the layout! As far as embellishing, I used things from Maggie Holmes and Amy Tangerine's collections! Hi! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here today with another baby shower card. These days my friends have lots of good news. I'm making baby cards one after another :) This time I have made a soft no-line watercolor card. The look is like a children's book. To achieve the technique of no-line watercoloring, my  Zig Clean Color Pens  helped me a ton!!! I first laid down the shadows with the marker, then I used a water brush to fade out the color. The trick is to limit the amount of water on the brush. If I have too much water coming out of the brush, the image will still bleed. Don't ask me how I know... Here's a closer look at the animals. Stamp the animals on watercolor paper with Pumice Stone distress ink . The stamp set is from MFT Sweet Safari set Color them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush . Hi there friends! Janette here from sunny, yet wet (yay!) California. It is rare to have an entirely gloomy day here, and not uncommon to experience sunshine at the same time rain is falling. I love those moments. Then there are moments that I love much less. Those times I've overreacted or said something a little too harshly, those moments that call for an apology. Today, I bring you a card for just that occasion. A simple apology can go a long way to make things right again. Never be to prideful to say "I'm sorry." MFT is one of my all time favorite companies. Hello! I am so glad you stopped by today! I have a fun, colorful card to share with you, using a couple of fabulous stamp sets from My Favorite Things .  I am a sucker for florals, and the Sketched Blooms had to come live with me! I started by cutting a piece of watercolor paper down to 4 3/8 x 5 1/4, and stamped my flowers and stems in a waterproof black ink. I then used multiple colors of Distress Inks , to stamp out my flowers, adding water with a spray bottle to spread the color. I then immediately hit it with my heat tool to keep it from spreading. I did that to all of the flowers. With the leaves, I simple colored in the bottom portion using Distress Markers, and the spritzed it with water. To finish it, I adhered it to a white card base with foam, and added a sentiment from the Birthday Bears Stamp Set , using white heat embossing onto black card stock. The succulent trend is still very much alive and well. I was at Target just shortly after Christmas and there were succulent terrariums taking over the home decor section. I want to buy them all! This Hero Arts Succulents stamp set is so fun to create your own little terrarium scene. I used Neat & Tangled's You Can Do Anything die  and set it against a backdrop created by Concord & 9th's Tree Ring Stamp . Also, everyone needs My Favorite Thing's Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX . Hey folks! Ya know, one of my favorite things about Watercoloring is it can be a very forgiving medium. You can put as much work into it as you want OR you can let it do it's thing and you're good to go. Add either approach to a big beautiful Stamp and you've got yourself a deal. So, I started by stamping a Flower and some Leaves from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set by Altenew . I masked them off with Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper . Really, the purpose of this Stamp Set is to layer it using different inks. I love that look, but I'm a let's color kind of girl, so I just used the Outline Images. I gotta be honest, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers are rarely my first choice. HOWEVER, if I'm looking for bold colors and something easy to use, they are my go to. Hello Everyone, Its Trish here from Techniques by Trish !  Its been a super long time since I've had a chance to create anything and post but I'm back, hopefully in full swing.  I hope everyone has had a great start to the New Year but enough from me....lets move onto my card shall we :) For today's card, I decided to go with something simple.  Getting back into crafting, simple is a good place to start.  And then the juices start flowing and more ideas keep coming to you. I started out with a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper  and used my Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles Dies  (Small and Large) to cut out my watercolor paper and emboss a smaller rectangle in the center. Next, I moved onto my stamping and watercoloring.  I did some masking while I stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle "Many Thanks" stamp set.  Using the My Favorite Things Hybrid Black Licorice ink ,  I inked up "You're a" and then used some Versamark Ink to

Happy Saturday everyone! It's Marcie here, from Sharp Designs . Thanks for letting me pop in today and share some January Mood Board inspiration with you. I am in awe of this gorgeous colour palette; the blue-greens with fresh pops of white and silver give off a wintery, icy feeling. It's perfect for this blustery time of year!  I started out by using a combination of Distress Inks and Distress Markers in Blueprint Sketch , Mermaid Lagoon , Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass to watercolour the main panel. The largest Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Stax was used to die cut it once dry. My MISTI came in handy lining up the sentiment from Amazing on my panel perfectly. Washi tape was used to mask off the end of it before I stamped it in Blueberry ink. The Doubly Amazing die cut was cut twice and adhered together a little bit off-set from each other. I cut it once with blue cardstock and again with white cardstock that I entirely coated with silver embossing

Happy Friday! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here with an easy watercolor card. I am using my Gansai Tambi watercolor again. The paints are just so beautiful! Today, I pair it with a floral background stamp from MFT called Roses All Over . White heat emboss the background onto watercolor paper Wet the whole piece of paper with water, watercolor the lower half of the panel. I went through the overlapping areas with a wet brush so the colors will blend within the embossed petals Die cut the watercolor panel with MFT Die-namics Blueprints 26 Die cut the sentiment out of both white cardstock and vellum. Adhere them together with the white words being slightly offset on top of the vellum to create a subtle drop shadow. Since I'm going for a white on white look, I need to make sure my sentiment stands out from the background Adhere the sentiment as shown and finish off with a few sequins I LOVE this card!
