Is It Fall Yet?

We've had the longest summer.  Not that I'm complaining, because I do love warm weather, but I must admit I'm ready for sweater weather!  These little guys certainly brought a bit a Fall with them...at least to my craft room :)   For my card, I created a background by blending a few Distress Oxide Inks:  Frayed Burlap , Twisted Citron and Carved Pumpkin . The frame, pumpkins, acorns and leaves were made with Hello Bluebird's Gallery Frame #3 dies cut from different Lawn Fawn Cardstock colors.  I may have gone overboard with the White Uni-Ball Signo pen , but I like the 'highlight' effect of this pen!   And finally, the 'stars' of my card are these darling woodland animals from Hello Bluebird Fall Buddies stamp set which are Copic colored.   I'd wanted this set for so long and finally purchased it several months ago.  I couldn't wait until fall to use it!  These little guys are SO cute!!

Get Crafty!

Crafting makes everything better! Kathy here to share a couple cards created with Gina K Designs Crafty Notes stamp set . This awesome set makes my heart so happy - it contains images of all the crafty tools I love to play with!   For my first card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then cut circles from Lawn Fawn White cardstock using Waffle Flower Stitched Nesting Circles dies ; offsetting the die cuts.  I stamped and copic colored the craft images popping them up on and around the circle die cuts.  I then stamped the images using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad .   For my second card, I layered Lawn Fawn Black cardstock onto the cardbase.  I then layered on a piece of Lawn Fawn White cardstock and blended some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink with the Mini Ink Blending Tool .  I stamped and copic colored several of the Crafty Notes images and arranged them.  To finish, I stamped the sentiment (my man...

Say Yes To The Vest

Hey, there BRI fans!  Kathy here to share a fun card that is perfect for Father's Day or any masculine card.  If you're like me, guy cards are always such a challenge, but using Sunny Studio Designs Sweater Vest Dies makes it easy and fun! For my first Sweater Vest card, I used Lawn Fawn cardstock in White , Chocolate Bar and Kraft .  The vest front was embossed with Sunny Studio Dapper Diamonds embossing folder to add texture.  The tie was cut from Sunny Studio Gingham Jewel Tones pattern paper. For my next Sweater Vest card, I used Lawn Fawn cardstock in White and Noble Fir . The vest front was created using  Sunny Studio Dapper Diamonds embossing folder and the tie/diamond cuts were made from  Sunny Studio Gingham Jewel Tones 6x6 paper pad . Sparkle & Shine

Hey, BRI friends - Kathy here to invite you to add a little sparkle and shine to your day!  These darling nail polish card/tags were created with Honey Bee Stamps Nail Polish Bottle Dies ; Shine On Stamp set and coordinating dies .  For this first nail polish bottle, I used purple and teal WOW embossing powders with the parchment paper technique.  The technique is easy and fun: I pressed the cut out shape into WOW embossing pad , sprinkled on the embossing powders to cover the piece then laid a piece of parchment paper on top, heated with a heat gun and slowly lifted off the parchment.  For the bow, I cut Marquee Love Glitter Paper and Lawn Fawn Sugarplum cardstock for the center. The 'shine' word was silver embossed on Lawn Fawn Mermaid cardstock . For this bottle, I used DCWV Solid Gold cardstock for the base and Marquee Love Glitter Paper for the bow.  The 'sparkle' word was gold embossed and die cut. I love this sentiment in the Hone...

Stuck On You

Hey, BRI fans - Kathy here!  I have a confession - plants are doomed if they depend on me to flourish.  It's a fact.  At least these lovely cactus plants have the promise of being around for a long time! For my card, I created a background using Concord & 9th To The Point Turnabout stamp - a cinch with the MISTI - and Catherine Pooler inks .  These fun, big cactus die cuts are from Concord & 9th Stuck On You dies. The 'happy birthday' sentiment is from Concord & 9th Birthday Basics Turnabout stamps. Hope you'll follow us via email/blog , Facebook and/or Instagram so you won't miss any projects the design team shares...not to mention, you'll be among the first to hear about deals and specials!

It's A Jungle Out There

Hey, BRI fans - Kathy here to share a wild card!  I combined goodies from a few of my favorite brands and had so much fun putting this project together.  To start, I layered Lawn Fawn Ground Coffee cardstock to the card base.  For the background, I blended several Distressed Oxide inks using Newton's Nook Tropical Leaves Stencil .  The frame was created cutting Lawn Fawn Ground Coffee cardstock with Reverse Confetti Stitched Squares dies . Hope you enjoyed my card today.  Be sure to stop by the Butterfly Reflections Ink store -- your sure to find your favorite brands as well as a few new ones!  The adorable images are all from Hello Bluebird !  The cute little monkey and vine are from the Jungles Littles stamp set/dies.  The giraffe and elephant hanging over the frame are from the Portrait Pals stamp set/dies.
