October 2022 Mood Board

Hello there! And happy World Card Making Day! Amanda here today to share this months mood board. I was really drawn to the teal and orange combo this month and while I typically love jewel tones in the fall I was really liking the idea of some lighter muted tones like sage green and a sandy orange to round it out. I hope it's fall enough for you! My son informed it is not 😂 Forest Teal, Sage Green, Sandstone and Yam Image Sources: Pinterest I can't wait to see all of your creations! Be sure to share on Instagram with #brimoodboard for a chance to win a $20 shop credit, plus if you enter this weekend and use #briwcmd2022 you'll be entered to win an additional prize! November 2021 Mood Board

Hello! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board, and mood it is! I've been totally drawn to rich earthy colors lately and this palette just hits the spot with it's cozy vibes. Green has always been one of my favorite colors but I think this deep green shade that leans a little blue tops the list. And it's just a perfect match for the warm cinnamon tone in the clay color. The gray and dark midnight green act as neutrals in this palette but they also add some great visual interest. You can really play that up depending on how you use the colors. This palette is a little more masculine than my typical boards, but I think it's also going to make for some gorgeous autumn and winter creations!  Storm Gray, Baked Clay, Blue Spruce, Pine Grove Image Sources: Pinterest I hope you all love it as much as I do and I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Be sure to share your creations on Instagram with #brimoodboard for a chance to win a $20 credit to the s...

September 2021 Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board. Vanessa and I are both all about the fall feels so I couldn't resist a head start into the season. This color combo was inspired entirely by that gemstone illustration in the bottom corner. It has an earthy richness but still holds on to that summer vibrancy, perfect for the transition into fall! I am personally LOVING that moss and peacock duo! Quartz Pink, Tomato, Moss and Peacock Image Sources: Pinterest I can't wait to see what you all come up with this month! November 2020 Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board. I have another fall palette for you, but this time we're going for a moodier vibe! I'm really loving the orangey-pink color (what would you call it? It was difficult to name, nothing quite fit) in this combo, especially when paired with that deep muted purple. Then you have the warm yellow to brighten things up and the almost emerald teal for that gorgeous pop of color! I just love it, it's such a cozy combo! Harvest Yellow, Pink Clay, Blackberry and Rich Teal Image Sources: Pinterest I can't wait to see what you all come up with using this palette! November Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board. It's so tempting to do a fall board with yellows, oranges and reds when you look outside and see the leaves changing all around you. I wanted to go for something a little different today and I love that this combo has both a fall and winter feel to it. Is it just me or has everyone seemed to skip straight to Christmas the day after Halloween and totally skipped Thanksgiving? I'll admit, I'm definitely enjoying both pumpkin and peppermint flavors right now! ;-) Petal Pink, Aubergine, Sage, Indigo Image Sources: Pinterest I hope these colors inspire you to create something fabulous! Be sure to share your projects by linking in the comments below, in the Facebook group or on Instagram with #brimoodboard Thanks for looking!

November Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board. I LOVE fall. It is one of my most favorite times of the year. And yet, every year right after Halloween the urge to go full on Christmas starts gnawing at me! I'm resisting for now, but I'm not sure how long that will last! For now I will embrace everything I love about fall. I totally recommend throwing on a chunky oversized sweater, make yourself some hot cider and enjoy playing with these colors. And there's a first for me here! I'm pretty darn sure I have never used a brown in one of these before! Bordeaux, Butterscotch, Teal, Chestnut Image Sources: Pinterest I hope this inspires you to create something lovely! Please be sure to share by linking us to your project in the comments below. Or you can share on the BRI Facebook group and Instagram. As always hashtag it #brimoodboard so we can find it easily!

October Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share this month's mood board! I came across a photo of the Pantone fall colors of 2017 and instantly fell in love! Out of the 10 colors on the list Shaded Spruce caught my attention right away so I knew I wanted to build my pallet around that. I actually just bought bathroom towels in the same color too. Gotta love Target, so on trend! Golden Lime, Shaded Spruce, Ballet Slipper, Tawny Port Image Sources: Pinterest I hope this mood board inspires you to create something lovely! I would love it if you shared your projects! You can link to them in the comments below, post on Instagram with the hashtag #brimoodboard and of course, share in the Facebook group !
