Birthday Card Using Crazy Birds Sets

Hello everyone! It's Emily here to share a super cute birthday card using  Crazy Birds  stamp set, and  Crazy Birds matching dies , On a small piece of watercolor cardstock, i created the background using Gansai Tambi watercolor .  I adhered it over the card base and put it aside to dry.  Next, the bird.  I stamped, die cut, and colored him with  Copics .  These Crazy Birds dies are so wonderful.  They come with little dies to cut the details of the birds (eyes, wings, beak, etc...).  I then created the front panel using  Die-namics Blueprint #25 , and  Jumbo Peek-A-Boo Circles  and stamped the sentiment.   Next step, I assembled all the components together.  I added clear acetate, foam tape behind the front panel.  Pour some sequins on the watercolored background and adhered the front panel over.  Lastly, I added the bird.   Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you have a great da...

Crazy Bird Bookmarks

Hello, Emily here with some fun bookmarks to share.  First, i ADORE these  Crazy Birds  by Tim Holtz... they are just so fun to look at and to color.  I started with stamping the birds using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I heat set the images before starting watercoloring them.  I used  Gansai Tambi watercolors  and Ranger's waterbrush .  Even without using watercolor paper, I was still able to blend the colors beautifully.  Next i used Avery Elle's  bookmark die , then laminated my bookmarks.  Finally, I trimmed the laminate and added twines.   Thanks for visiting.  Have a great day!

If you haven't - you have missed out on a lot of cuteness!  Something about the little expressions on these birds make me laugh - I just adore them! I had a friend recently ask me to make a set of Nursery Wall art for her with them. It was going to be a shared boy and girl room for a little while, so she wanted them fairly neutral - no to specifically boy or girl. Here are photos of them - I didn't frame them, but just gave them to her so she could frame them how she wished. She has promised me photos when she has had a chance to do that - so I will make sure and share those when I receive them, but wanted to share them here now, since I happened to see that Vanessa still has one set of these in stock right now as I'm writing this - so run and grab it now if you don't have it yet!!! I used sentiments from Paper Smooches ...
