Getting Awesome Layout

Hello and good morning! Samantha here today, and I'm sharing a fun layout I made about my little Menn holding hands and running into the hockey rink! this is their favorite place and they NEVER get tired of going there! ! Lol! i started by covering my page with gesso. Once that was dry, I used lots of watercolor -y goodness in aquas, teals and greens! I didn't heat set it to dry, I just let the page sit out! I prefer the look of watercolor that way! Once the page was dry (again! ha!), I started to add my layers! I used 6x6 papers to create my photo matte and added some texture by die cutting the edges of some to add interest! I used the torn paper edge - that one is my favorite!! The title was created with a combination of letter stickers from Evalicious (Mini Gold Dots!) and Pebbles Hello Love Thickers ! I love these two together! I embellished with stickers from the new Amy Tangerine Oh Happy Life collection , Pink Paislee Fancy Free Puffy Stickers ...

I think it'll be a nice surprise for her. :) MFT Happy Hedgehog ,  MFT Geometric Grid Bacground Builder , Die-namics Hot Cocoa Cups ,  Die-namics Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX , Nuvo Clear Crystal Drops I adhere the cup with pop dots, so the hedgehog can glide up and down easily out of the cup. Friends like you are rare

Hello! It's Gladys here with another card share. I'm featuring products newly released by My Favorite Things . This month's release was full of awesome Christmas stamps and another cute critter by Birdie Brown called Beast Friends . These yeti's are super adorable and fun and comes with punny sentiment which is awesome!   Let's get started! I love stencils because it takes away the hassle of creating backgrounds. Don't get me wrong I love creating scenes but if you don't have a whole lot of time like me using a stencil will make your card making process much easier. I picked up the Moroccan lattice stencil and it's absolutely gorgeous! Don't you think? I did some distressing using picked raspberry , cracked pistachio and peacock feathers . That was all to it for the background. Easy peasy!   I did a little bit of copic coloring on one of the yeti's from the stamp set. I die cut it using the coordinating dies . N...

Leafy Feather Card Set

Hello! It's Lynnea and I have another card set for you today using some of my favorite stamp sets pretty much everrrr!! Always remember to head over to the  shop  and pick up the things I've used today! I fell in love with the  Lace Leaf stamp set  from Concord & 9th the minute I saw it! As much as I love the big lacy leaf (you know...the centerpiece of the stamp set), I also love the little leaf stamp. I think it looks like a tiny feather! I wanted to make a whole set centered around this little leafy feather stamp! I used my Misti and stamped the little leaf image over and over with bunches of inks from my collection. Some of the cards I used first and second generation stamping and some of the cards I used two different shades of ink. After I had stamped my row of leaves I used  Versamark  ink to stamp sentiments from the  Script Greetings  stamp set from Right at Home. Oh how I love this set as well! I just love the gr...

You're Too Kind

Good morning and welcome back! It's Cassie here today, and I've got a fun fall card to share with you today. I've been itching to make more fall-ish cards. Today's card could really be given at any time of the year, but it does lean more towards fall look in my opinion. Let's take a look at it! I used a technique that I saw another crafter use on Instagram where you die cut a bunch of objects, in this case leaves, and cover your card front with them. I love this technique because it really makes use of the dies that I sometimes forget about, or have trouble using a lot. The leaves I used for this card are Lawn Fawn's Stitched Leaves . They are the perfect size for filling the card front! After I die cut them and attached them to the panel I trimmed any overhang and got out my Distress Inks . I blended in Worn Lipstick , Dried Marigold , Mustard Seed and Crushed Olive with a mini ink blender . I used a really light hand here to create softer colors, instead ...

Sending You Prayers

Are you like me and simply cannot pass up a stamp set that reminds you of your children, nieces or nephews or grandchildren, or your dog, cat or beloved fish? Karen B. here from The Bald Dragonfly , and I have two cards featuring the same stamp sets, layouts and techniques for you. I couldn't pass up the Better Together Stamp Set from Neat & Tangled because the images in it are so sweet and the little boy reminds me of my own two rambunctious rascals! I stamped and colored the boy images from this set -the brown haired boy with Copics and the the blond haired boy with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers . They were die cut using the coordinating Better Together Dies and set aside. On a white piece of cardstock, I stamped the awesome sentiment from Honey Bee's Prayers Stamp Set with the rich, deep  Versafine Onyx Black Ink . The MISTI tool allowed me to stamp the two cards without too much extra work. I love the size of the "pray" word, and the fact ...

All Good Things...

Happy HOLIDAY MONDAY!!!! It's Thanksgiving Day here in Canada and Colombus Day for my American friends. I hope you are having a relaxing day!!  I, myself, plan to stay in my pjs all day today, please don't judge, I ate A LOT yesterday :) For my card today, I'm using stamps from Waffle Flower's new release.  Waffle Flower stamps are are so unique. From mermaid monkeys to purses to florals, they never disappoint!  I decided on the  Wild and Free  stamp set.  This set is gorgeous with so many possibilities. I started by stamping the largest image in  Versamark  ink and heat embossing it with  Gold Superfine Embossing Powder .  I should mention that I'm loving ivory cardstock right now, so that's what I'm using. This stamp set comes with solid stamps to fill in the leaves and flowers.  I used my current favourite set of inks for the flowers,  May's Shades of Pink Ink Cubes . They are delicious!!!  I used the Bubbleg...
