Little dinosaur jar with Peter

Good day everyone! It's Peter here. I've made another inspiration card for you all! I've been a fan of the Lawn Fawn jar from the How You Bean?  set for a long time now! At one point, I kept using it on every card I made, haha. Since it has been a while that I made a card with it, I thought it would be fun using it again! Normally I don't mix images from different brands. It's a personal choice, it bothers me that things like line thickness don't match. But I still went for it with this card! I really wanted to put one of the tiny dinosaurs from the Little Dino Agenda set from Mama Elephant inside of the jar and surround the jar with some jungle goodness. But I don't have anything suitable from Mama Elephant for that, so since the jar is already from Lawn Fawn I figured I should just go for some Lawn Fawn. Since everything inside the jar is from Mama Elephant and everything on the outside is from Lawn Fawn, I think it works really well! Next to the tiny din...

Weather with You 🌞☔

Hello my crafty friends! It's Veronica here and today I'm sharing with you a couple of super cute cards! To create my scenes, I stamped some critters from Weather With You Stamp Set by My Favorite Things in Memento Tuxedo Black on some pieces of Transotype paper. I colored everything with my Copic Ciao Markers and then I die cut two rectangles.    After sticking my panels on some white paper, I chose the basis of my cards. For the rainy scene, a piece of black paper worked fine to me, while for the sunny one, I chose a patterned paper from the Party Plaid Paper Pad by My Favorite Things (currently out of stock). I stamped two sentiments of the same stamp set with my Versamark Ink and some white and black embossing powders and finally I glued everything on two folded pieces of white paper.     Hope you like my cards and, if you wish so, you can tell me which one is your favorite! From Italy with love, Veronica

Mermaid Birthday with Leontine

Hello! I’m back with my second card for this blog. I was inspired by the current mood board challenge, so I used lots of teal, fuchsia, linen and a hint of coral. These sea creatures are having a lovely underwater birthday party with the mermaids. This is how I made it: I cut two panels of Lawn Fawn white cardstock with the outside in stitched rectangle stackables . On one of them I used the stitched hillside borders . I used the ray of light stencil from MFT to create a nice effect on the background with distress oxides. I started with speckled egg and put peacock feathers on top. For the sand I used antique linen and brushed corduroy . I splattered some brushed corduroy on top for some extra interest. While that was drying I stamped the images on copic friendly paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and I colored them with copic sketch markers: 0, E000, E00, E11, E21, E40, E41, E42, E43, Y21, Y23, Y26, G000, G00, G02, RV000, RV00, RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09, R20, R30, R32, ...

You are dino-mite with Peter

Hi everyone! It's Peter here and I'm back on the blog with another fun card. This time, I used some Hello Sweetums mixed with Lawn Fawn supplies. Hello Sweetums was a brand that had a lot of cute stamps and dies. Yes, I said was, because it doesn't exist anymore unfortunately.  But there still is some left in the shop! Like the dinosaur set I used for this card. But also some other very fun sets, so be sure to check that out ! Once they are gone, they are gone!  The base of the card is made with white cardstock and a patterned paper stitched rectangle that I cut with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables . The patterned paper is from the Into The Woods Remix 6x6 Paper Pad . The fun speech balloons help to create the blast of color together with the background I created. That background is created by cutting a little smaller stitched rectangle using the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables . With the Plaid Stencil out of the new Lawn Fawn release, I made the striped backgr...
