This week's card was inspired by Easter egg dying! I received these adorable Tim Holtz mini Distress inks from Vanessa, and I immediately thought about our egg dying adventures! Here are the products I used:
Avery Elle Oh Happy Day Stamp Set, Delicata Golden Glitz ink, Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper, and Tim Holtz mini Distress Inks set #1!
I have been wanting to try one of Jennifer McGuire's technique she calls "ink bleed" for a while, and I thought this stamp set would work great! I started by taping down the watercolor paper to a piece of chipboard.
Then I randomly stamped out the small flower (overlapping some) with picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, and mustard seed. I made sure to leave a space for the sentiment.
Using peacock feathers, I stamped the pair of leaves making sure to overlap some of them.
Next, I used a paint brush to flick water onto the stamped images. I also dabbed a few areas with water.
The water does not react right away, but after a few moments and a little use of a heat gun you will see the reaction! It has a beautiful watercolor effect!!!!
Can I just tell you how GORGEOUS this gold ink is?! It stamps beautifully and has a glimmer like no other!
Here you can see the watercolor effect!
I stamped the sentiment and the little asterisk using the Delicata ink.
Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure you check out the store for these new products and more! Also feel free to follow my crafty adventures on Instagram at: http://instagram.com/klucky5

I cut a piece of paper that matched picked raspberry and added a strip to the left side of the card.
Then I cut a 1/4 of an inch off of the card front and added it to the top of the card.
Here's the finished card! I REALLY wish you could see the gorgeous shimmer of gold that this ink has! Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure you check out the store for these new products and more! Also feel free to follow my crafty adventures on Instagram at: http://instagram.com/klucky5
