dream on - perfect pearls + embossing paste

Happy Weekend!
Samantha here and I'm SUPER excited to share my card with you today!

Here's my card:

Do you have the aerosmith song stuck in your head now? I had it stuck in my head the entire time I was making this card! I LOVE it!
(and if you're interested in a cover of that song, with a haunting and beautiful feel...check this out!)
Yeah, ok, let's dive in!
First of all, the feathers are from the Lawn Fawn stamp set - dreams, which I stamped onto vellum and then stuck right onto the card!

That beautiful blue paper in the background...well that is from the amazing Echo Park Hello Again 6x6 paper pad! LOOOOOOOVE it!!
I added some white splatters to the background, and the gold you see...well my friends, that was FUN!

I used an amazing stencil from Hero Arts and added some embossing paste. While it was still wet, I added some Perfect Pearls. I love it! It has a total (almost) mixed media look, right?

The sentiment was created with some of the most amazing Studio Calico Wood Veneers that I colored with my very first Avery Elle ink pad!!

So what do you think? Now that you have an awesome song stuck in your head, have an amazing rest of your weekend!!
Oh, and you NEED to check out the sales on the Butterfly Reflections Ink website - 20% and 40% off, people!!

Thanks!
