Last week I announced our new Design Team and I shared some of their artwork/DT submissions on my FB page a few days ago. Today, I want to share a little more about each of them.
Samantha Mann is a cardmaker, occasional scrapper and mom of 2 boys who lives in South Carolina. She's the DT Coordinator for Newton's Nook Designs as well as on the Sweet Stamp Shop DT and Lawnscaping FB Inspiration Team. Talk about TALENTED! I am so excited and honored to have her on my team and can't wait to see the projects she creates. Here are a few to get us started...
Kristy Luccketta is fun and has a great personality (maybe it's because she's from Vegas, baby?! haha). Having just "met" Kristy through FB not that long ago, I was happy to see that she'd applied for my team and even more excited to have her join us. Her Project Life pages are amazing. She has a pretty and girly style which works well with her daughter as the main focus in her pages. Kristy also likes to make cards and spoil her mom's group friends with little gifts and treats. How thoughtful is that? Seriously! I am in LOVE with these pages...
Trisha Theophilopoulos wowed me with her submissions. I loved her card designs and also her use of inks and coloring. I was also impressed by her staging. Trish is a military wife and mom of one little girl. While I don't know her personally (yet!), I'm looking forward to getting to know her and super excited to have another talented cardmaker on my team. Here are a few of her super cute submissions!
Tiffany Johnson is probably one of the more "well known" people on the Design Team. She has quite the list of accomplishments and is currently on the Faber-Castell, Sizzix and Lawn Fawn DTs to name a few. Tiffany's been a friend of mine for a while and I was lucky enough to meet her in person at CHA in January. She recently relocated with her husband, is the mom of 3 cuties and is just a super sweetie whom I'm THRILLED to have on the team. She's a multi-talent being a scrapbooker, cardmaker, mixed media artist, etc. and also loves to teach so maybe we'll be seeing some tutorials from her in the future. Maybe. ;) Here are a few of her projects...
Brooke Petermann is committed to documenting her family through Project Life. She is married and a mommy to two little boys, a two year old and a brand new little guy born just a couple of weeks ago. CONGRATULATIONS on your newest addition. :) Brooke has a clean, modern style and I also noticed she takes fabulous, eye catching photos. Here's some of her work...
Lisa Lahiff is married to her college sweetheart, mom of 2 and a traditional scrapbooker, but also likes to make cards and other crafty projects for holidays and parties. Lisa's on a few different challenge blog DTs and has been published a few times as well. WHOOT! I said it on my FB post before, but I'll say it here, too... she had me at butterflies. <3 I really love the two layouts shown below!!!
So that is everyone! Congrats again and WELCOME!!! We're working on a schedule for when the girls will start posting to the blog. Their first month of DT goodies are on their way to them and I'm so excited to see the projects they create and hope you'll follow along with us!!! Shawna will be up first and has a layout ready to share tomorrow so stay tuned for that. :)
