Hi everyone! Shawna here with another layout. This time I am sharing an everyday 12x12. I will admit it. I tend to like the everyday, non event scrapping best. I like to enjoy the event more so than trying to get good photos of it. With everyday photos I feel like I get better shots.
For this layout I started out with some off white cardstock, wood veneers, and some mist. I just laid the veneers on my background to act as a mask. It breaks up the solid background and adds a little more interest.
For the rest of the page I used the Fancy Pants As You Wish 6x6 paper. Just a few small strips. I also used the die cuts from this collection. I felt the blue in this line went really well with the sky in the photo. Some other products I used were the Studio Calico Atlantic Cork circle stickers, Lemon Lush clips, Wanderlust Label stickers, and the Pebbles Basics Thickers in green glitter.
