A Dash of Paint, Watercolor and Stitching!

Hello there!
Samantha here, and I'm so excited to share this layout with you today! :)
I used LOTS of supplies from the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop:

A little back story about the picture: my two little Menn (ages 5 and 2 in this photo) are SOOOO my husband's mini-me's it's funny! And one of their favorite summer activities is 'helping' Daddy mow the lawn! They LOVE it!
My oldest pushes the fertilizer thing-y and my youngest uses his toy lawn mower...and all the while, all three of them are sweating up a STORM! (Summers in SC are...horrendous!) You would think they would want to give up and come in and cool down, but nope! They love following Daddy around like his ducklings! :)

Ok, onto the craftyness!
I started with a white piece of cardstock and used some Paint to add green brush strokes. Then, I cut a piece of Amy Tangerine 12x12 paper diaganolly and adhered it over it. Then I added some green watercolor to the Amy Tangerine cardstock.

I stamped out and colored with copics the ducks and clouds from Lawn Fawn's Hello Baby and Happy Everything stamp set (I even masked off the little bird's beak and used the duck's beak instead to make them look more like ducklings! ha!)! Oh, and yes I used Violet's ABC's for the date! :)

I stitched on a few of the clouds, popped up others and added those AMAZING Pinkfresh Studio wood veneers!! LOOOOVE them! I also used lots of green-y papers from the Heidi Swapp Favorite Things 6x6 and Echo Park Happy Camper 6x6 paper! :) I finished it off with some black mist splatters after I stitched on the sentiment using THESE amazing awesome incredible superb Serendipity Thickers, and that's it!

Are you inspired? Prove it! I want to see your projects with Butterfly Reflections Ink products!
I even heard Vanessa JUST got a shipment of new MFT stuff! and something tells me those would go PERFECTLY with the mood board this month!

Thanks again!
~Samantha
