Hello! Rubeena here with a card featuring Altenew and WPlus9 products. Mother's Day will be here before you know it so I got started on the cards early. This was so simple and did not take up too much time!
I stamped two of the images from Altenew's Persian Motifs onto vellum and heat embossed it in gold. With watercolor markers, I colored on the back side of the images so that they created a light look. I colored some on the front to give part of it a darker look. Then I used the Persian Motifs dies to cut them out.
I positioned them onto the cardstock so I could figure out where I would stamp the sentiment. Once I decided on that, I used the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment from WPlus9's Strictly Sentiments 4. I just LOVE the script font from their sets. I stamped it in Versamark and heat embossed it in gold. I added the images with small pieces of foam tape to give it dimension.
Instead of sequins, I decided to use Irresistable Pico Embellisher in gold and added pink dots from a marker. After seeing the final result, I figured I could make a bunch of these and add different sentiments to them.
What's great is that no two cards have to look alike so you can even create a gift set with them! Some of these products are still available in the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop so be sure to check it out! Thanks so much for visiting! Have a great week.
