Good morning, friends! It's Rubeena here from a rare ruby, featuring Altenew today. This was really fun and simple to make. If you don't know by now, I love creating backgrounds with distress inks! Different combinations create unique looks for skies.
For this card, I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Stormy Sky, Shaded Lilac and Victorian Velvet. I took white cardstock and created this background with round blending foams, starting from the lightest to darkest and then darkest to lightest. I spray white ink spray and shimmer spray over the background once it's done to cover those slight imperfections. It'll take some practice for me to get it right without those circle outlines. :)
I stamped the large circle from Altenew's To The Moon and stamped it in white pigment ink on the top right of the colored background. Ever since this set came out, I've been dying to play with it! You may not be able to see it in the pictures but I stamped one of the moon layers using Delicata silver shimmer ink. The last moon layer was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed using white embossing powder. I used VersaMarker to create an outline of the moon and heat embossed in white. I added stars from WPlus9's Unforgettable stamp set and stamped them in white pigment ink.
What do you think?? I feel like making a couple more (after my finals). :) Thanks for visiting! Keep coming back for more inspiration.

The sentiment "you're out of this world" was stamped in VersaMark on
black cardstock and heat embossed in white. I added foam tape and
circles of silver thread to the back and attached it to the front. The
whole layer was cut slightly smaller than A2 size so that the white
outlines on the side could create a wonderful contrast to the colored
background.
