Good morning, Jess here! I have been waiting (semi-patiently, ha!) for the WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals and accompanying stamp sets to come back in stock and I snagged them as soon as Vanessa got them into the shop! These stamps and dies create gorgeous floral arrangements!
One of my favorites flowers are lilacs and these stamps looked just like a fresh branch off my tree! I die-cut several flowers from Fresh Cut Florals and then stamped the three layers with Hero Arts shadow inks in Soft Purple, Passionflower, and Grape Juice. The stems were stamped in Altenew Evergreen ink. Next I die-cut a container from Fresh Cut Containers and stamped the watering can in Pumice Stone distress ink. I used watercolor paper for the watering can because I was hoping the inking would be a little uneven to give depth and dimension without having to try too hard! ;)
To finish the card I stamped a few more flowers and grasses on the card panel behind the container but I should have stamped them taller because the lilacs ended up being taller than I realized. I arranged the lilacs and the container on the card and adhered them into place. I stamped the sentiment from Fresh Cut Florals with Hero Arts Grape Juice ink and then tied a piece of purple twine around the bottom of my card. I trimmed the panel and adhered it to a lavender A2 top-folding card base!
I can see infinite combinations and cards with these sets and I can't wait to have a little more time to create more arrangements! Thanks so much for visiting and see you next week!
Jess, your card is so pretty! I love the purple twine around it.
