Hi, Rubeena here with a birthday card featuring Swim Team stamps and dies from Avery Elle's latest release. Also, it is my birthday today so this is an appropriate card. ;-)
To begin, I began with coloring watercolor paper with three distress inks: Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, and Stormy Sky. I added drops of water to give it a watery look. I used the two rectangle dies from Wonky Stitches Elle-ments Dies. I'm in love with this die set! It's pretty cute and unique. I taped down the center on white cardstock base and then added foam tape around it because I was going to create a shaker card.
I stamped and colored some of the sea creatures with Copic markers and fussy cut them. I stamped the sentiment, the rocks and other sea elements on the center piece using black dye ink. I added the colored pieces with foam tape and threw in some matching sequins. I added acetate sheet behind the rectangle outline that I die-cut earlier and then added it on top to finish off the card.
This stamp set is so adorable - it has so many different pieces to it and is perfect for more than just birthdays. I have so many ideas, and I hope you enjoyed today's post. Thanks for visiting!
