Hey guys! Jung here with 2 back to school layouts! I'm so excited about these layouts! It's been a tradition around here that I started when my older daughter started kindergarten. Instead of taking her picture on just the first day of school, we take pictures the entire first week, and I remember to save some of her back-to-school clothes tags. I love looking back to see how much she's grown, what size she was wearing, and her sense of style too. Well, this year, my younger daughter started kindergarten, so we had double the pictures, double the clothes, double the layouts.
When you have 2+ kids, and double the scrapbook layouts to make, here is my tip for you: keep it simple and make the same or very similar layouts using the same products (since you already have them out). Since my girls each have their own albums, I do this often. For example, I make layouts for their halloween costumes, dance recital pictures, school pictures, etc. I usually get an idea for a layout, and then copy it for both layouts.

I have been loving black and white, 6x6 paper pads, and circle dies lately! I also love to use stamps on my layouts. The Altenew label love stamp set is perfect for scrapbook layouts and cards! I used the sentiments U ROCK!, YOU ARE AWESOME!, and COOL! on my 4th grader's layout. As I said before, I love how lawn fawn usually includes little heart and star stamps in a lot of their stamp sets; I like to use them along with ink splatters and sequins. The open star stamp that I used is from their flirty frames stamp set. I used papers from Fancy Pants office suite, My Favorite Things dots & stripes neutrals, and Dear Lizzy fine and dandy. You'll find black and white paper in a lot of different 6x6 paper pads! I used nesting circle dies to cut out circles and circle frames. These My Favorite Things pierced circle stax would be perfect!
Here is another tip for you: try altering your supplies to fit your needs. I was doing a little late night crafting, and since I was going with a b&w theme, I needed black alpha stickers. I didn't have any black stickers on hand with enough Es (oh, the struggle!), so I dug out some green Simple Stories letter stickers that I had, and used a black Copic marker and colored right over them!
That's it for me today friends!
Happy Wednesday!
